Some time later, after finally calming Leo down, Ivy tucked him into bed.
She gently pulled the blanket over him before leaning down to place a soft kiss on his forehead.
"Sleep well, sweetheart," she whispered.
Leo nodded sleepily, his small hand briefly holding onto hers before slowly drifting off to sleep.
Seeing him finally relax eased the ache in Ivy's heart.
Quietly leaving the room, she turned to Butler Rupert.
"Please keep an eye on him tonight."
Rupert bowed respectfully.
"Don't worry, Madam. I'll stay close by."
Giving him a grateful nod, Ivy headed toward Xander's study.
The moment she pushed open the door, she found Xander standing by the floor-to-ceiling window with his phone against his ear.
"Good," he said calmly. "Make sure every media outlet involved receives the legal notice by tonight. I also want additional security around Daffodil Academy."
After listening for a few more seconds, he replied, "Keep investigating."
With that, he ended the call.
