Now that the whole world knew Ivy and Xander were married, Xander insisted on driving her to work himself.
Although every muscle in her body still ached from the previous night, she couldn't back out of today's schedule. The production team had already announced her appearance, and hundreds of people were expecting her.
The black sedan rolled to a stop a short distance from the studio entrance.
Ivy glanced through the tinted window and immediately froze.
"...Goodness." Her eyes widened. "How am I supposed to get out of the car?"
The entrance to the building was packed.
Fans stood behind metal barricades, reporters held cameras above their heads, and security guards struggled to keep everyone from pushing forward.
Flashes from cameras lit up the morning like fireworks.
Ivy blinked twice before a grin slowly spread across her face.
"Oh."
She sat up a little straighter.
"So... this is what fame feels like."
Xander looked at her. She folded her arms proudly.
