Spotting A.I garbage is a rising concern of the last 2 years or so. We all hate a.i slop mostly because it sucks ass and it feels off to read something computer generated. This become a even more of an issue when author believe they can make money off it and push their Patreon or other subscription sites.
I will give easy ways to figure out A.I slop.
Unnatural Speech is the easiest way
If characters explain the mc every action be wary.
I will give an example with MHA.
Character A has a Wind quirk and is team up with Mineta against Fodder 1 and 2 whose quirks only slightly boost physicals in the Hero vs Villian training
The ai model will actually make the fight competitive for some reason. When logically Character A with his Wind quirk can one shot his/her opponents. They will have a character who is obviously weaker dodge , land hits and do things that should be impossible with their levels of training and the quirk match up. Mind you Character A(MC) was probably shown to be able to fight a pro hero. (If the character is female this is tuned up even for some reason)
Then when Character A wins his fight. A suppose Stereotypecal smart students like Momo or Tsuya will explain MC admittly extremely simple plan of "Pushing the villains away from the bomb" . Momo or Tsuya will then over hype it and drop a PhD level understanding of wind and then All might will glaze the mc.
Another way is if the A.I get name wrong
The story can have perfect grammar and will get names messed up with wrong last names and the wrong people speaking.
Characters knowing information they shouldn't possibly know.
Again I will use Mha (Mha seems to have the most Ai slop), The MC can be reincarnated from a different universe and has a different power system like ki from the Dragon ball universe. Then Aizawa will explain the Kamehameha and the super Saiyan transformation, always saying "legendary technique". This can be also the first time Aizawa can be seeing the move used.
Shitty power scaling is also apparent but this isn't really concrete as Chinese slop also has this.
The perfect grammar can also clue you especially when the author says their English isn't up to par.
