"Greybridge first," James said. "If that crossing stays open, Baldwin can feed soldiers into this operation faster than we can finish it. We hit Redfield or Highwatch first, and fresh troops come over that bridge behind us."
"Highwatch has the gun," Cillian said.
"A gun that isn't live yet. Raymond's scouts give it days." James tapped the first map. "Redfield's supplies matter, but burning food doesn't stop men already marching. The bridge stops everything."
"And we stay together," Ronan said. "That's not a discussion."
It wasn't. Five people split across three fortified positions was five people dying in three places.
James ran the order once, fast, so everyone owned it.
