Beiman Bidhata – Part 1
Parikshit Halder always believed that life would reward hard work. A bright science student, he spent countless nights under a dim light, solving equations and dreaming of a stable future. His teachers praised him, neighbors used him as an example, and his parents carried silent pride in their eyes. Everything seemed to be going right—until life slowly began to change its color.
After passing his exams with good marks, Parikshit thought the toughest part of his journey was over. But fate had something else planned. Days turned into months, and months into years, yet no job came his way. Each interview ended with rejection, each hope shattered quietly inside his chest.
At first, he stayed strong. "Maybe next time," he would tell himself. But slowly, that confidence began to crack. His friends moved ahead in life—some got jobs, some went abroad, and some started businesses. Meanwhile, Parikshit remained stuck in the same place, like time had forgotten him.
As if unemployment wasn't enough, life added more pain. Health problems started creeping in. Frequent headaches, weakness, and an unknown chest pain made his days heavier. Visiting doctors became a routine, and medicines replaced his dreams. The little savings his family had began to disappear in treatment costs.
One evening, sitting alone on the rooftop, Parikshit looked up at the sky. The same sky he once saw full of hope now felt empty. "Why me?" he whispered. "What wrong did I do?" There was no answer—just silence.
His mother often tried to comfort him, saying, "Everything happens for a reason." But Parikshit started questioning that belief. What reason could justify so much suffering? Why would destiny, or Bidhata, be so unfair?
Days grew darker. The cheerful boy who once laughed freely now barely smiled. He avoided people, stopped attending gatherings, and slowly locked himself in his own world. Inside, a storm was raging—a mix of anger, frustration, and helplessness.
Yet, somewhere deep within, a small spark still existed. A voice that refused to give up completely. Even when everything felt lost, that voice whispered, "This is not the end."
But Parikshit didn't know whether to trust that voice anymore.
Was fate really against him?
Or was this just the beginning of something he couldn't yet understand?
The story of his struggle had just begun…
