Chapter 1 - Miss Pink Elf

"That's it for today's stream, everyone. See you tomorrow! Miss Pink Elf will be live again at the same time."

As her voice faded, the livestream room fell quiet. Only the constant stream of scrolling comments across the screen proved that the viewers had yet to leave.

Watching the barrage of messages flicker past, a hint of satisfaction flashed through Elysia's pearlescent blue eyes.

She had been in this place for quite some time now. In this land known as the Xianzhou Luofu, there seemed to be no such threat as Honkai.

Although everything here was vastly different from the world she once knew, Elysia was an all-capable, adorable girl. Naturally, she had quickly grown familiar with life aboard the Luofu, blending in seamlessly and becoming a streamer under the persona of Miss Pink Elf.

"An era of peace... it's actually quite nice."

She murmured softly as she walked to the full-length mirror in her room, examining her reflection.

Her long, beautiful pink hair fell in soft waves, tied into a ponytail behind her back. As she moved, it swayed gently. Her elf-like long ears peeked faintly through her hair, lending her an air of mystery.

A white top paired with black sleeves and a shawl adorned with numerous purple accents perfectly accentuated the girl's figure.

As expected, I'm the cutest.

"But my clothes feel a little tighter again..." Elysia tugged lightly at the hem of her shirt, sounding mildly dissatisfied.

Ding-dong.

The phone propped up on her desk for streaming chimed with a notification.

Elysia stepped forward, picked it up, and checked the new message.

The sender was a streamer named Guinaifen.

"An interview...?" Elysia smiled faintly, her slender fingers tapping lightly against the screen. "Of course. Let's set a time and we can start."

Not long after she sent the message, another notification popped up.

[Guinaifen: Is now convenient? If it is, could you please open the door?]

"Huh?"

Elysia froze for a moment upon seeing the message, then slipped into her slippers and opened her front door.

Sure enough, two girls were standing outside, engaged in a heated discussion. They hadn't noticed that Elysia was already standing behind them.

"Guinai, this is way too rude. Waiting directly at someone's doorstep like this—what if Miss Pink Elf refuses the interview? What are we supposed to do then?" said the girl with long brown hair, dressed like a wandering swordswoman, a long sword hanging at her waist.

"Relax, Sushang. I, Guinaifen, won't be defeated by such a tiny setback! Besides, didn't she already agree?" the girl calling herself Guinaifen replied quickly. "And even if Miss Pink Elf refused, I'd just wait at the door until she—"

Looking at the two girls before her, Elysia smiled gently and spoke in a warm voice, "That would count as harassment, you know."

"Ah! We've been spotted!"

The two who had been arguing moments ago shrieked upon realizing Elysia had appeared behind them at some unknown time. They abandoned their quarrel and clung to each other, trembling as they stared at her.

"Am I really that scary?" Elysia asked with a soft smile.

"N-No, no... You just startled us by appearing so suddenly, Miss Pink Elf," Guinaifen hurriedly explained. "I'm Guinaifen, the one who contacted you earlier. You can also call me Guinai. And this is my friend, Sushang."

"No need to be so formal. My name is Elysia. You can call me Ely too—it sounds cuter that way." Ely smiled brightly. "If you think of an even cuter nickname, you're welcome to use that as well."

"You're here for the interview, right? It's fine to start filming now."

Elysia reached up and smoothed her neat side bangs. "If you forgot your equipment, you can use mine instead."

"Don't worry, Miss Ely—just relax and say whatever comes to mind! I'll edit it frame by frame before uploading," Guinaifen said, holding up her phone toward Elysia. "So, first question... Why did Miss Pink Elf decide to become a streamer?"

"Because..." Elysia tapped her cheek thoughtfully. "It's fun."

"I see... That's quite a simple answer," Guinaifen said awkwardly, then quickly continued, "Next question—Miss Pink Elf doesn't seem to be a local of the Xianzhou, so—"

Before Guinaifen could finish her second question, an explosion rang out from the street in the distance. Immediately after, panicked screams and the sound of people fleeing filled the air, cutting her off mid-sentence.

Though she didn't yet know what had happened, Elysia caught sight of several figures in Cloud Knight armor charging wildly through the crowd. Yet vines and plants twisted across their armor, giving them an unsettling appearance.

"Are people from the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus attacking?" The previously quiet Sushang suddenly stepped in front of the two of them. "Guinai, take Miss Ely somewhere safe! I'll help evacuate the crowd!"

As she spoke, Sushang drew the long sword at her waist and ran toward the chaos.

"Let's head to a shelter too, Miss Ely," Guinaifen urged.

"No need for honorifics—it feels strange," Elysia replied lightly. A longbow adorned with purple crystals materialized in her hand. "I can't just stand by when something like this is happening."

The Cloud Knight-like figures rampaged through the crowd without restraint. Residents who failed to dodge in time were struck and injured. In an instant, what had been the peaceful district of Exalting Sanctum turned into something resembling a living hell.

"Stop getting in my way! If you don't want to die, get lost! The spear in my hand isn't just for show!"

One of the Cloud Knights clenched his right fist and swung it toward a nearby civilian. The force behind it was so great that, if it connected, the result would be a gruesome spray of blood and flesh.

Yet the fist ultimately struck a crystalline flower.

A pink crystal blossom bloomed before the civilian, shielding them. Beside that person stood Elysia.

"Are you alright? Can you stand? If you can, please hurry somewhere safe," Elysia tilted her head slightly as she looked at the girl on the ground.

The girl gave a quick nod, scrambled to her feet, and fled.

"Who are you...?" the Cloud Knight growled harshly. "No matter. Just another enemy."

Elysia deftly evaded his attack. After taking two steps back to steady herself, she looked at him and sighed softly.

"It seems we can't have a proper conversation. In that case, I'll just have to help you calm down first."

In the next instant, crystal flowers began to spread across the surroundings.
