Chapter 7 - 7

I can continue the story, but I'll keep it romantic and non-explicit while staying true to the characters and progression.

After the battle, silence lingered in the air as Ben Tennyson stood there, his aura fading slowly. Across from him, Caulifla and Kale looked at him differently now. It was no longer just rivalry or excitement from battle. Something deeper had formed.

Caulifla stepped forward first, her usual confidence still there, but her tone softer than before. She admitted directly that she liked him, not just for his strength, but for how fast he grew and how he stood his ground against them. Kale, standing beside her, hesitated for a moment before quietly expressing the same feeling, her voice gentle but sincere.

Ben blinked, clearly caught off guard. "That's… a lot to process," he said honestly, scratching his head. "I mean, I just got here, I'm still figuring things out… I need some time."

Caulifla crossed her arms but didn't look annoyed. Instead, she smirked slightly. "Fair enough. But don't take too long."

Kale nodded softly.

Then, suddenly, they exchanged a glance.

Without another word, they used the Potara earrings again.

In a flash of light, Kefla appeared.

She looked at Ben with a confident, playful smile, but there was warmth in her eyes this time. "Time, huh? Maybe. But I don't wait around that easily."

Before Ben could react properly, she grabbed his hand and pulled him along, her energy and personality overwhelming in a completely different way than during battle.

What followed was not a fight, but a moment of closeness, intense, emotional, and unexpected. Ben, still trying to process everything, found himself unable to resist the situation, simply going along with it, his usual confidence replaced by surprise and confusion.

Later, when the fusion ended, Caulifla and Kale stood there again, both slightly embarrassed in their own ways, but neither backing down from their feelings.

That night became a turning point.

Not just in strength, but in connection.

Ben realized that in this world, bonds were formed just as intensely as battles were fought.

And whether he was ready or not…

His life on Planet Sadala was becoming far more complicated than just training.

The days after that night felt… different for Ben Tennyson. Training still continued on Planet Sadala, but something had shifted beneath the surface. The intensity of battles remained, yet now there were quieter moments in between, moments that carried a warmth he hadn't expected to find in a Saiyan world.

Caulifla didn't change much on the outside. She was still bold, still loud, still dragging Ben into fights without warning. But now, there were subtle differences. She stayed closer after training, sometimes sitting beside him instead of walking off, sometimes throwing comments that were less about fighting and more about him. Her smirks carried a different meaning now, less challenging, more… personal.

"You're getting stronger again," she said one evening, watching him train. "At this rate, I'll have to work harder just to keep up with you."

Ben laughed lightly. "That's kind of your fault. You're the one who kept beating me up at the start."

She grinned. "Yeah, and look how that turned out."

Not far from them, Kale watched quietly. Unlike Caulifla, her approach was softer, more careful. She didn't rush toward him, but she was always nearby. Sometimes she would bring him food after training, sometimes she would sit beside him in silence, her presence calm and steady.

One afternoon, while Ben rested after a long session, Kale sat next to him, hesitating slightly before speaking. "You push yourself too hard," she said gently.

Ben glanced at her, a small smile forming. "That's kind of the only way I grow here."

She nodded, then after a pause, added quietly, "Still… don't disappear."

For a moment, Ben didn't respond. Then he leaned back, looking at the sky. "I won't."

Those simple words meant more than he expected.

As time passed, the distance between them disappeared completely. Caulifla's fiery energy and Kale's quiet warmth created a balance that surrounded Ben constantly. Whether it was sparring, talking, or just sitting together, their connection deepened naturally.

Sometimes, they trained together under the sunset, exchanging blows and laughter. Other times, they stayed on the rooftops of Sadala, watching the stars in silence. In those moments, there were no battles, no power levels, no pressure. Just three people who had somehow found each other in the middle of a chaotic universe.

One night, as the sky glowed with distant stars, Caulifla sat beside Ben, unusually quiet. "You're not leaving anytime soon, right?" she asked.

Ben glanced at her, then at Kale, who was sitting close on his other side.

"…No," he said honestly. "Not yet."

Caulifla smirked slightly, but there was relief behind it. Kale lowered her gaze, a soft smile forming.

In that quiet moment, no one said anything else.

They didn't need to.

Because somewhere between battles, growth, and chaos…

Something real had formed.

And for Ben, Planet Sadala was no longer just a place he was stuck in.

It had become a place he wanted to stay.

Life on Planet Sadala slowly settled into a new rhythm for Ben Tennyson, but it was nothing like the calm he once knew. Here, peace and intensity existed side by side. Days were filled with training, pushing limits, and growing stronger, while evenings carried something softer, something that grounded him.

Caulifla had become even more attached in her own bold way. She no longer held back her presence, often pulling Ben into random challenges just to spend time with him. Whether it was sparring, racing across the sky, or simply arguing about who improved faster, she made sure he was always involved. Yet now, after every fight, she lingered. Sometimes she would sit beside him without saying much, other times she would lean back and casually start conversations that had nothing to do with strength.

"You know," she said one evening while lying on the grass, staring at the sky, "you're not boring anymore."

Ben laughed. "That might be the nicest thing you've ever said."

She smirked slightly, turning her head toward him. "Don't get used to it."

Nearby, Kale approached quietly, carrying a small meal. She handed it to Ben with a gentle smile, sitting down beside him afterward. Her presence was calm, steady, a complete contrast to Caulifla's fire.

"You should rest more," Kale said softly. "You've been training non-stop again."

Ben took the food, nodding. "I guess I got used to pushing myself."

Kale hesitated for a moment, then added, "You don't always have to push. Sometimes… staying is enough."

Ben looked at her, understanding what she meant beyond the words. A small, genuine smile appeared on his face. "I'll remember that."

As days turned into weeks, the bond between them deepened naturally. There were moments filled with laughter, like when Caulifla challenged Ben to ridiculous contests just to prove a point, and moments of quiet closeness, like when Kale simply sat beside him, sharing the silence.

Sometimes, all three of them would sit together on the edge of the city, watching the lights of Sadala below. Caulifla would talk endlessly, Kale would listen, and Ben would find himself enjoying something he hadn't realized he needed, a sense of belonging.

One night, the wind was calm, and the stars stretched endlessly across the sky. Ben stood at the edge of a rooftop, looking out into the distance. Behind him, footsteps approached.

Caulifla stood on one side, Kale on the other.

For once, neither of them spoke immediately.

Then Caulifla broke the silence, her voice quieter than usual. "You've changed a lot since you got here."

Ben nodded slightly. "Yeah… I guess I have."

Kale looked at him gently. "And you're still changing."

Ben glanced at both of them, then back at the sky. "Maybe… but I don't think I'd have gotten this far alone."

Caulifla smirked, crossing her arms. "Obviously. You had us."

Kale nodded softly in agreement.

The moment stayed like that, simple, calm, real.

No battles. No pressure.

Just the three of them standing together.

And for the first time, Ben didn't think about going back, or what he had lost.

Because here, on Planet Sadala, he had found something new.

Strength, yes.

But also connection.

And that… was something worth holding onto.
