Theon had been explaining to his parents the idea of having Azaria meet the pack in their home, soft sunlight filtering through the large windows of the family home, when Valeria came down that morning with a troubled look on her face. Lenora asked what was wrong and Theon asked if she was okay.
Valeria took a deep breath before explaining what had transpired with the key and the antique box. She recounted how she had noticed the wooden box inside the glass display when she'd never paid any attention to it before in her grandfather's house, and how a gut feeling had urged her to ask Jamison for it and try the old key Jamison had gifted her not long ago. She told them how the key turned in the lock, revealing five hidden letters tucked inside.
