Inside the living room of Jamison's house, the same family members who had gathered together late the previous evening had come together once again, including Nathan and Idris. The air was thick with lingering tension from their late-night planning session. The sun had barely crested the tree line outside, casting shadows across the floorboards.

She had returned to her family after her late-night meeting with Aziel at his office where she had seen firsthand the shocking discovery James had uncovered within the Rhodes financial records. She paused near the doorway, looking at the expectant and weary faces of her family gathered before her.
