Chapter 1 - Chapter 2: The Hidden Diary

Disha barely slept that night.

Every time she closed her eyes… she saw her again.

That girl.

Standing at the end of the corridor.

Pointing.

Watching.

Waiting.

The next morning, Disha reached school earlier than usual.

She didn't know why… but something was pulling her back.

Something unfinished.

As she entered the classroom, she noticed Riya already sitting there.

"Hey… you look tired," Riya said, raising an eyebrow.

Disha hesitated.

Should she tell her?

"…Riya, yesterday after school—"

"Don't stay late."

Riya cut her off immediately.

Her voice was sharp.

Almost… scared.

Disha froze. "How do you know I stayed late?"

Riya looked away.

"…Just don't," she whispered.

That was the moment Disha knew.

Riya was hiding something.

During lunch break, Disha made a decision.

She was going back.

To the corridor.

The hallway looked different in daylight.

Less scary.

But still… not normal.

Disha walked slowly, her footsteps echoing.

She stopped at the same photograph.

The same girl.

This time, she looked closer.

Below the picture, there was a name.

"Ananya Sen – Batch of 2015"

Disha whispered, "Ananya…"

Suddenly—

Thud.

A sound came from behind the wall.

Disha jumped.

"…Hello?"

No answer.

But the sound came again.

From inside.

Her heart pounded.

She pressed her hand against the wall.

It felt… hollow.

"Wait… this isn't solid?"

Disha looked around nervously.

Then pushed.

Creaaaak…

A small section of the wall shifted open.

A hidden space.

Wait… is this some kind of secret room?!"

Disha stepped inside slowly.

Dust filled the air.

It looked like no one had entered for years.

Old desks.

Broken chairs.

And in the corner…

A small wooden box.

Her hands trembled as she opened it.

Inside—

A diary.

Covered in dust.

Old.

Worn out.

Disha wiped the cover.

And froze.

Written on it were the words:

"Property of Ananya Sen"

Her breath hitched.

"This… this is her diary?"

She quickly opened the first page.

The handwriting was neat.

But the words…

Sent chills down her spine.

They are watching me."

Disha's fingers tightened around the pages.

She turned to the next one.

"Something is wrong in this school."

Another page.

"If anything happens to me… it's not an accident."

Disha's heart started racing.

"No… this can't be…"

Suddenly—

Footsteps.

Outside.

Someone was coming.

Disha panicked.

She quickly closed the diary and hid it inside her bag.

The secret door creaked again as she stepped out.

Just in time.

"Disha?"

It was Riya.

Standing right in front of her.

Her eyes slowly moved to Disha's bag.

"…What were you doing here?"

Disha forced a smile.

"N-nothing… just exploring."

Riya stared at her.

Long.

Silent.

Then said quietly—

"You shouldn't dig into things that are buried."

A cold chill ran down Disha's spine.

That night…

Disha opened the diary again.

Her hands shaking.

She flipped to the last written page.

And what she read…

Made her blood run cold.

"She is not human."

Disha whispered, "She… who?"

At that exact moment—

Her phone screen flickered.

And a message appeared.

From an unknown number.

"Stop reading my diary."

Disha dropped the phone in shock.

Her heart pounding wildly.

Slowly…

Very slowly…

She looked up.

At her mirror.

And behind her—

For just a second—

She saw the reflection of that same girl.

Ananya.

Standing right there.

Then—

Gone.

Disha couldn't breathe.

Because now she knew—

This wasn't just a mystery anymore.

It was a warning.
