Times have changed , as teleporters for public transport begin to exist , while still in its testing phase its safety was guaranteed to be safe for Humans and Remnants alike , and I am currently cosplaying the character I voiced.
Step Step Step
All around me were humans and remnants alike. If one were to see this from the air they'd think this was an ant colony purely from the amount of fans and cosplayers just walking.
Funnily enough while many jobs soon became obsolete , the demands for Cosplayers have skyrocketed , many fans often wanted to see ordinary humans cosplay as their favorite Remnant.
Companies like MiHoYo , Kuro Games , SEGA Corporation , Tencent , Lasengle inc and many others had become even more popular as many of what were once their characters came to life , of course it was quite confusing at first especially due to the legal problems like copyright but that was a thing of the past
Whether it be Saber , Gilgamesh or Enkidu from the FGO series or even the more niche ones like Mahiru from the Angel Next Door , Furina from Genshin or Rover from WuWa the demands have skyrocketed.
Of course , the criteria itself has become stricter than ever , humans wanting perfection while most Remnants basically find it funny or are even die hard fans , like Aqua from Oshi No Ko who goes crazy whenever he sees somebody cosplay Ai
"Excuse me , can I take a photo?" as I looked it was somebody cosplaying Haxxor Bunny from Honkai Impact 3rd wearing a typical cosplay mask that people used to hide their face, however that voice was undoubtedly that of a man
"Mmm…" I said as the both of us posed before a clicking sound could be heard
"Thank you , also you're voice sounds so accurate to the canon miss" said the haxxor bunny cosplayer before he left and disappeared into the sea of people
"Are you nervous?"
"Yeah… I'm still not used to it… and these clothes are so revealing too…" I muttered toward my well. Let's call him X. Can't reveal too much information after all.
"Haha—You never change , though yeah those clothes really are revealing"
"I felt so embarrassed using it , and it's so hot as well because I'm wearing these thick safety pants"
"Pfft—I remember you were muttering 'embarrassing' the entire time when you cosplayed Silverwolf last time."
"Please. Forget about it" I swear to god , he's making me feel even more embarrassed , if I'm not careful I might become red like a tomato.
"Excuse me—Can I take a picture with you?" Said another cosplayer , this time it was an Arlecchino cosplayer , of course as the saying goes , cosplaying is a ticket to too much social interaction…

"Hahhh…" I muttered as I sat on a bench , tiredness washed over me. I don't even remember the amount of people that came and asked for a picture with me. Well at the very least it would definitely be good content on Ttube.
"Excuse me miss , " said another person, oh? She didn't look like a cosplayer , with long black hair and a rather obvious snake tail that was moving around , beside her what seemed to be her friend , with blonde hair and eyes that looked at me
"Can we take a picture with you?" said the Man with Blonde hair and eyes , he seemed to look rather excited as well , huh are they a couple-?
"We're friends" The Blonde man instantly replied as if he could read my thoughts , while I was indeed startled , it was common after all in this day and age so without much thought I posed as X took a picture before the both of them bowed slightly and left.
"They look like a Remnant Couple"
"They said they were friends , but I could've sworn that blond man looked familiar… Just where have I seen that" I replied to X's statement. I could've sworn I've seen that man before but my memory was fuzzy.
"Though my wing've been bloodstained and could never rid~♫♪♪ " a music video was being played , one of the nostalgic songs of the past during 2018 was it? It was nostalgic since I was the one who performed it
"Oh looks like The Hi3rd fans going crazy" X replied in a funny manner , the Hoyofans were waving their blue glow sticks with the beat , there were even some Remnants and Bronya cosplayers there.
"Yeah" It felt nice looking at people who still adored my performance even after these Remnants actually turned to reality , how funny would it be if CEO Bronya were to appear in my face and praise me lmao.
"You're not gonna join them?"
"My legs hurt… I think I'll sit for a while , the sun's also getting very hot… Let's find some shade"
"You literally just rested but alright Introvert~"
"You…" I muttered in a slightly resentful voice , Hey?! What's wrong with being an introvert??? , Obviously nothing Duh
[Every cosplayer please meet at XXXX before 14.30 so we can take a picture to commemorate this event] The sound from the speaker was loud enough to let everybody know what to do later on.
"Ughhh… I wanna go home"
"Hey no whining now , you can rest later , your schedule's free for the next week after all" X's rebuttal just hits hard because I know it's the truth…

"Here I got a nice boba milk tea for 6 yuan from that stall" X pointed in a direction where the name 'Zhong Li's Boba Stall' could be seen , it was rather crowded as well , especially because the person in the stall was a—
"That Zhong Li cosplayer is really handsome" I muttered , those amber eyes and those clothes looked very accurate to the canon version , of course it would've been crowded.
"TASTY AND REFRESHING BOBA ONLY 6 YUAN EACH" Said a woman in that stall , her red eyes and horns? Were quite eye-catching , she was wearing an apron as she was pouring more Milk tea in each glass.
"Is she also cosplaying? It looks like Mudrock from arknights" X asked , indeed she looked like Mudrock from Arknights but it was obviously not a cosplay so probably a remnant
"An employee maybe but oh my gosh this boba's surprisingly good and cheap" I said as I slurped the Boba milk tea even more , the sweet flavor was truly heavenly. Anyhow might as well start walking again.

"Those from Genshin please go to this sideee , those from star raill that sidee , those from ZZZ there from Honkai thereee—" It was chaotic indeed , so many people , too many people…
After being dragged and ordered I finally settled between someone cosplaying the Herrscher of Thunder and the other cosplaying Herrscher of Void and Welt Yang
"We'll be taking the picture in a 5 , 4 , 3—" as the announcer started a count down

A sound that shouldn't be possible could be heard , it was cold , electronic , rhythmic , my body reacted before my thoughts could my legs locked in place, adrenaline and cold sweat flowing through mmy body
"DIE YOU FUCKING HUMANS" a voice coming through my left as Someone screamed. Several people actually . The announcer's voice was also cut off mid-word.
FWISH RUMBLEEEE FWOOOOSH
"MMPHHHH" Went the Remnant , one look could tell that it was an elf Remnant , instantly tied by what seemed to be blue energy like cuffs that also muffled his voice.
"I swear this was supposed to be my day off…" a voice—a voice I recognized very well , it sounded exactly how I used to voice her , her silver eyes looked annoyed , she was wearing the clothes of what people would call the CEO Bronya clothes.
In the distance I could've sworn I saw Grey Fog encircling a place , in another what seemed to be countless earth structures forming a huge dome before also disappearing.
As she clenched her fingers the Elf Remnant and countless others were also immobilized as Black Portals with orange edges appeared before even more Remnants appeared.
Some were restricted by earth cages , others seemed completely unable to move even though there was nothing restricting them , they looked like they were fooled? , some even looked battered as if they had their bones broken
"These stupid Remnants…" said the snake lady from before—She was cracking her fist , her tail was also dragging another Remnant , on the other side one could see the same Blond man whose limpid eyes seemed to scan the surroundings.
"And yet they ask why Humans are scared of Remnants" A random remnant cursed as one could see he was also restricting another Remnant with his ice , there were countless other Remnants who also restricted these fanatics with their own powers.
"YOU TRAITORS" said one of the Remnants who was immobilized.
"I can't believe we have to be lumped with these guys" A Magical girl said , her voice extremely displeased as she crossed her arm

A blue screen appeared out of nowhere as one could see the figure of Bronya Zaychik still wearing that CEO clothing
[Ahem. I will introduce myself , I am Bronya Zaychik , yes the one you knew from the world of Honkai Impact 3rd , on behalf of Herta's Society and the Coalition of Remnants , we'd like to apologize for this disturbance]
[However please rest assured , they will be dealt with 'accordingly' any damage will be compensated by the Coalition of Remnants under the guidance of the treaty that has been signed.]
The blue screen disappeared once more as one could see that the entire place was being repaired , some by blue nanobot looking things, others by Grey Fog and so on. In just 5 minutes , the entire place looked like nothing ever happened.
"Ahem—This is the [The author has decided to not say who this person is so that the author can avoid problems] The Remnants themselves has been detained by The Silentium with collaboration from The Coalition of Remnants and Herta's Society"
An aged voice that every Chinese citizen would recognize without doubt , it was a shocking thing that this person was the one voicing those words.
"Please continue with your activities , we have already secured help from some of the more famous Remnants who have chosen to keep their anonymity to enjoy the festival. Thank you for your support"
As the voice disappeared , the festival continued as if nothing ever happened , like it was a common occurrence already which indeed it was , I just never expected it to happen here
—20.00 PM Local Time.
"Damn I didn't expect something like that could even happen here" X said as he sat beside me trying to comfort me , I was shaken, yes it was scary indeed , thankfully though nothing bad actually happened.
"Yeah…" I muttered softly , well it isn't exactly anybody's fault , whether we like it or not , Humans and Remnants are still adapting to each other , so such animosity was bound to happen.
"Excuse me… Can we take a picture?" the voice of a Girl could be heard , I was tired indeed , but might as well do—Eh?
"Hello ██████ [The author decided to not say the narrator's name to keep safe] " As I looked in front of me , it was Bronya Zaychik in the flesh as she gave me a small smile.
Beside her was a girl I'd recognize , it was Kiana Kaslana , wearing modest clothing that revealed almost no skin as she also gave a smile.
"Ah—Hello?" I answered , My introverted brain could not handle meeting the person I voiced and her fellow friend.
"Ah if you don't mind, can we add your LetsChat?" Kiana asked as she gave a very certain smile.
"Don't mind her , she's a big fan of you" "Heyyyy."Bronya replied as Kiana instantly counter attacked
"Ah. Okay" I could not think , my brain just instinctively said yes as a beep could be heard with 2 people's contact name, one called Bronya Zaychik , the other K423.
"We won't disturb you now , maybe we can plan something you can also bring your friend , see ya~" Kiana replied before an orange portal appeared as both Kiana and Bronya stepped through it.
"Damn."
