Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

Little Garden. East District, Lower Level. The base of the Community [No Name].

Night had fallen, draping the ruins in a heavy, silent shroud.

Deep within the first basement level, Su Jin followed a young girl through the shadows. She wore a crisp maid outfit, her rabbit ears twitching atop her head. Her face was a portrait of purity and ethereal beauty, yet her eyes held a weight far beyond her years.

Her name was Black Rabbit. She was Su Jin's senior—and the only one left in this hollowed-out community.

Su Jin remained silent, his footsteps echoing softly against the cold stone. As a newcomer who had only recently joined the [No Name], he played the part of the quiet observer.

In truth, he was an outsider in every sense of the word. Like a character from a cliché novel, Su Jin was a transmigrator.

In his previous life, he had watched the anime *Problem Children Are Coming from Another World, Aren't They?* He knew the lore, the power scaling, and the dangers. But knowing about a world and surviving it were two very different things.

Frankly, he would have preferred to stay ignorant.

Five months ago, he had plummeted into this world of gods and demons. The fall had been brutal. He had practically died the moment he hit the ground, his body shattered and his spirit flickering like a dying candle.

A high-ranking official from the Community [Arcadia] had found him. Out of humanitarian concern, they provided basic medical treatment and a place to recover. Su Jin had spent his first months in the Arcadia headquarters, a mere guest in a titan's shadow.

Then, the titan fell.

In the blink of an eye, [Arcadia]—a power that dominated the lower levels of Little Garden—was annihilated. In a world where gods and demons were as common as blades of grass, the community had collapsed overnight.

Su Jin was caught in the aftershocks. Once again, he found himself staring into the abyss. He spent two months struggling on the brink of death, saved only when the remnants of the community sold their final assets to buy his medicine.

Twice in five months, he had crossed the threshold of death.

The lesson was clear: Little Garden was a meat grinder for the weak.

Survival became his obsession. He chose to join the ruins of Arcadia, now stripped of its name and pride, known only as [No Name].

The logic was cold and practical. In Little Garden, you were either part of a community or you were prey. An ordinary human like Su Jin was an anomaly, a weakling that no reputable community would touch. Only Black Rabbit, the girl who had looked after him for five months, would accept him unconditionally.

It was a choice born of desperation, seasoned with a hint of gratitude.

'Besides,' Su Jin thought, his eyes narrowing, 'I know the future.'

In the original story, [No Name] would eventually become the home of the protagonists—the "golden thighs" of this world. Even if they wouldn't arrive for another two years, this was his best bet. Being a tag-along was embarrassing, but being dead was worse.

Black Rabbit stopped in front of a heavy basement door. She seemed to value Su Jin immensely, perhaps because he was the only one who had stayed when everyone else had fled or perished.

Now, she was taking him to claim a legacy. A Gift. The unique power of Little Garden, bestowed by stars, planets, and gods.

Black Rabbit lit an oil lamp, its flickering flame casting long, dancing shadows across rows of dust-covered bookshelves. Some shelves were pristine, cleaned by Black Rabbit during her long, lonely nights of organization.

They reached the center of the underground library, where an intricate magic circle was etched into the floor.

Black Rabbit turned, her expression brightening. "Speaking of which, Su Jin, you are the only external member to join us in the last ten years."

Su Jin nodded. He knew the drill. Most communities grew their talent from within. Outsiders were usually famous powerhouses. He was neither, but he was here.

"According to the community rules," Black Rabbit continued, her voice soft but proud, "as a newcomer benefit, you may choose a usable Gift from the treasury left behind by Lady Canary."

She stepped into the center of the circle. "Su Jin, you might not know this, but our strategist, Lady Canary, was the smartest person in Little Garden. The Gifts she left behind are bound to be top-tier treasures."

Su Jin kept his face neutral, but his mind was racing.

'She's lying.'

A defeated community had no secret treasures. Anything of value had likely been sold to keep the lights on and the stomachs full. Whatever remained were likely Gifts with requirements so harsh they were practically useless.

But for a man with nothing, even a cursed Gift was a lifeline.

Su Jin forced a look of awe onto his face. "A secret treasure from the legendary Lady Canary? The one who defeated gods? Can I really use something so precious?"

"Of course! You are one of us now." Black Rabbit beamed, clearly moved by his praise of her mentor.

She reached into her ample cleavage and pulled out a white card. With a soft *pop—!*, the card transformed.

In its place hovered a diamond-shaped, pitch-black crystal.

*Hum—!*

The air began to vibrate. The temperature in the room spiked, and Su Jin could hear the faint, aggressive *crackle* of invisible flames.

"This is what Lady Canary left behind," Black Rabbit said, her voice trembling with expectation. "A Divinity containing a Fragment of Fire Authority!"

Su Jin's heart skipped a beat. "A Divinity?!"

This wasn't just a Gift. This was a fragment of godhood. It was a high-level treasure capable of turning a mortal into a semi-divine being. In Little Garden, wars were fought over less.

'There's no way the community still had this,' Su Jin realized, his mind working fast.

Black Rabbit must have traded everything—every last scrap of the community's "trash"—to the only person who would give her a fair deal: Shiroyasha, the White Night King.

He owed them both. A debt of blood and gold.

"Su Jin," Black Rabbit whispered, her eyes searching his. "Are you willing to accept this Gift?"

"I am," he said firmly.

He reached out. His fingers brushed the cold, vibrating surface of the black crystal.

*FLASH!*

A blinding, dim light filled the basement. The Divinity surged, sinking into Su Jin's soul and merging with his Spirit Status—the fundamental record of his existence.

He felt his body scream. Every cell was being rewritten, pushed to the absolute limit of human potential. His senses sharpened, his muscles hardened, and a searing heat settled in his chest.

Then, a sound echoed in his mind. Not the sound of magic, but a familiar electronic chime.

A notification flashed across his vision.

—A question from ordinary member 'Kanao is so cute':

[How can I get along with a child who doesn't even know how to eat?]

Su Jin froze.

'What is this? A Q&A forum?'

It looked exactly like the pretentious internet forums from his previous life. Subconsciously, he followed the old template and thought of a reply.

[Thanks for the invite. Currently in Little Garden, just became a god. Since the question involves people in the circle and I'm afraid of being recognized, I'll post anonymously...]
