"Ah! You mean that item."
The stall owner, who had been enthusiastically hawking his merchandise and spinning stories about the items, fell silent when he saw the sword in my hand.

He just pretended to be surprised by my choice.
"Yes."
"Are you sure?"

"Well, it's an item I'm selling, but truthfully, it's not really worth selling. I just kept it because it felt wasteful to throw it away…"
I had a bad impression of him because of his deceptive bluffing, but he seemed to be a merchant with more conscience than I expected.
'But I want to buy this.'
I took the initiative before the stall owner could refuse to sell it.
"So how much is it?"
"Well, if you insist on buying it, I won't stop you. Just give me one copper coin, please."
