It had been several months since Julianne and Cedric's wedding. As planned, Allen headed straight to the Magic Tower after the wedding. Occasionally, I would receive letters from him, but it didn't seem like he expected a reply.
Mostly, they would say things like, "I want to see you eat dessert, Lili" or "This place is hell, save me."
Sometimes I wouldn't respond to the letters, but they kept coming steadily, so it seemed like he needed someone to whine to.
My relationship with the other children didn't change much. Luca and I still met frequently even without Allen, and it was the same for Joshua, who had returned to Winston Mansion. Aiden always visited on his own even without Michael, so he was out of the question.
Yesterday, we all built a snowman together.
"What are you thinking about so much?"
Suddenly, I heard a small cough in front of me. I quickly got back to my senses and looked at Frederick Evans.
"I was seriously thinking about why I'm here."
