The troublesome, eventful Foundation Festival had finally concluded after three days, and as always, I enjoyed it with Joshua, Luca, and Chloe. We admired the magical decorations on the trees instead of traditional lights, indulged in delicious food, and exchanged random gifts.
Meanwhile, Aiden left Erhaden immediately after the Festival Ball. It was just like him to tell me at the last minute.
Not that there was anything to discuss, as weren’t that close, after all.
Anyway, after some time had passed, we were granted permission to venture beyond the academy grounds before our graduation exams.
So there I stood, facing the main gates of Royston Mansion.
"What’s got you thinking so much?" Joshua asked, waving his hand in front of my eyes.
‘I can’t see anything behind that huge hand of his.’
I slightly tilted my head upwards.
"You’re standing behind me on purpose, aren’t you?"
