Penny Lowell was the first to react with a frowning face. I blinked in response.
‘Yeah, now that I think about it, maybe I shouldn't have revealed that…’
"You're our strongest asset, Lilianne. But you're suggesting you’ll stay at the back to support and heal?"
"Um, Penny?"
"Do you really believe we'll have time to fall back and get healed?"
‘Of course we won't…’
"I think I made a slip of the tongue."
‘In moments like this, a quick apology is the best move,’ I reasoned silently, deciding to keep a low profile.
Only then did Penny seem to ease up.
‘I guess I won't be much help to Joshua. These kids will keep a close eye on me at every opportunity they have. Most of them probably know why I said that, after all.’
"Well then, Lilianne and Alex can handle those two, and the rest of the magic majors will provide support for the swordsmanship majors from behind."
