It was more of a strategic gathering with only a handful of key figures present, to be precise.
I rolled my eyes and let out a discreet sigh.
‘Why am I even here? I clearly came as rear support. Is it really okay for me to attend this meeting just because I'm in charge of the barrier? It would be better to bring Joshua and have him sit in. He's going out to fight, after all…’
"Currently, we're in a standoff with no active hostilities," Calix, standing opposite me, reported the situation in his characteristic low voice.
As an officer stationed here, guarding the defensive position, he was the only other participant in the meeting aside from me, Carlisle, and Aiden.
More people would be added once the system was properly established in the future.
