Imagine you came across a fellow student at the Academy who was stuck with a professor on a rare day off.
Which option would you choose?
Number One - help out as a fellow student, sticking together out of loyalty.
Number Two - show a bit of sympathy but make a quick escape on the off chance you might get involved and dragged into hell.
Number Three - seeing as they're going to end up in graduate school anyway, root for their survival and give them a thumbs-up.
Ordinarily, I would have chosen either one of them without hesitation.
I had a low tolerance for bothersome things, especially when it came to professors.
But the person currently standing next to the professor had to be Aiden, of all people.
What's more, he wasn't even a student at the Academy, and on top of that, I owed him from yesterday!
"How did you end up here in the annex garden, Professor Dmitri?"
