Zahid was incredibly annoyed by the unexpected guests.
It was understandable since he took out time from his busy day to take care of me and these uninvited guests were interrupting.
Still, he couldn’t possibly send back the guests that already came by.
Zahid actually wanted to do so, but before Zahid could do anything, I swiftly told Dymon that I would be out in a bit.
Zahid narrowed his eyes like a fox as if he was trying to express how he felt about the turn of events.
“If you insist, I can’t stop you.”
He made it obvious that he wasn’t too happy with everything, but he didn’t do anything else to stop me.
Before heading off to the drawing room of the main wing, I quickly changed into my day clothes and made myself presentable.
Even though they were my guests, the meeting was held in the main wing instead of the annex. It was probably due to the fact that these two were paladins.
