I quickly asked Zahid to give me his arm.
Zahid put his hand behind my waist as he continued whispering.
“Don’t get too nervous. What’s there to worry about?”
“Everything.”
At that moment, I immediately understood why Zahid had insisted on picking me up.
Had he not been here with me, they would all have been up to my nose throwing all sorts of questions at me.
I felt like a piece of meat thrown at a pack of wolves.
