“Let go of her this instant.”
Zahid loosened his grip slightly, but he refused to let go.
He turned to face Hession with a dead look in his eyes.
Hession clenched his blanket so hard that his knuckles became pale.
“I have a limit on the amount of rudeness that I can tolerate, Duke Carnoire…… By the looks of it, you must think that you are the emperor of this empire.”
Zahid grinned cheekily as he tilted his head.
His blueish-black hair brushed across his forehead, and his long eyes stretched into beautiful crescent moons.
“Nonsense, Your Highness. I’m afraid someone would hear what you’re saying and actually believe those treacherous words leaking out of your mouth.”
