As soon as morning broke, the Crimson tribe's hunting party began packing up to continue their journey. Zale estimated that it would take them about three to four more days to reach the tribe.
Walter walked while using a toothbrush to clean his teeth. Aaron, having forgotten his pain after a good sleep, started hovering around Walter again, helping him carry his water pouch. He refused multiple times to no avail, so Walter had to let Aaron be.
Christian looked at Walter's complexion, noticing it was even paler than yesterday, and couldn't help but step forward and say: "How about I carry you? My claws are a bit dull, but I still have enough strength to carry a Sub-Beast. Your wound seems to have gotten worse."
Walter spat out the water he was using to rinse his mouth, wiped his face and mouth with an animal skin cloth, and then replied to Christian: "Thank you, but there is no need. We will be back at the tribe in a few days, and by then Kae... the High Priest will treat me."
