Helios lowered his massive body closer to the ground, making sure Adeline had stepped down safely. Once her feet touched the forest floor, she placed a warm hand on his side, caressing his thick, soft fur with a bright smile.
"You're so beautiful, Helios," she murmured, admiring his majestic form.
Helios let out a low huff and practically jumped with joy upon hearing the compliment from his mate. He wagged his tail in pure happiness as Adeline stepped around to the front. She stood directly before him, watching him closely as their eyes locked in a silent, affectionate gaze.
Helios leaned in and gently nuzzled her cheek, making her laugh out loud as the soft friction of his fur tickled her skin. She wrapped her hands around his large face, caressing his jawline with deep affection. "When I finally have my wolf, we will have so much more fun, Helios," she whispered against his snout.
