While walking through the corridor, Gideon encountered Ensley, who had a folder of reports gripped tightly in his hand.
Seeing his brother, Ensley stopped dead in his tracks, utterly bewildered. He even rubbed his eyes, genuinely wondering if he was looking at an illusion.
"What are you doing here?" Ensley asked. "Weren't you supposed to be on your honeymoon?"
"Don't you wish to head to the town to wipe out the hunters?" Gideon countered coldly. "Get ready, because I am going to teleport you there myself." With that final statement, he walked right past his brother before disappearing completely from his sight.
"What the hell was that? Why does he seem so agitated?" Ensley muttered to himself, staring at the empty space where his brother had just been standing.
Shaking his head, he went ahead to see his father to report on the hunter activities. As he entered after receiving permission, he greeted his father with a respectful bow.
