Chapter 59 - Chapter 60 Diagon Alley, London

  Chapter 60 Diagon Alley, London

  "Harry, what are you doing?"

On Sunday morning, Basil, who hadn't slept in for a long time, saw Harry sitting at the central hexagonal table, writing with a quill.

Had he transmigrated again? When did Harry become so studious?

Harry turned his head, looking confused. "Ordering Christmas presents."

"Christmas presents?" Basil was puzzled at first, then slapped the bed. "Right, how could I forget? I just woke up and thought you were doing your homework."

Harry suddenly realized, "You're still a bit scatterbrained. There wasn't any extra homework assigned this holiday; you finished the previous ones a long time ago."

Ten minutes later, Basil left the dormitory, saying he was going out for breakfast.

In fact, he had completely forgotten about giving Christmas presents.

His vow after obtaining the [True Word Appraiser] ability to never be forgetful again had been proven wrong.

In other words, he had to get all his friends' presents sorted out today.

He breathed a sigh of relief; it seemed that activating [Hogsmeade Village] wasn't so bad after all.

He closed his eyes, and several items vanished from [Zok's Joke Shop] and [Honeyduke's Shop]—wrapping paper and ribbons. Corresponding silver Sickles and bronze Knuts appeared in their places.

They had appeared in Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets.

"Riddle, have Lyra arrange for the mail." He pulled out a piece of parchment and quickly scribbled a few names on it.

The parchment disappeared from his hand.

He stroked his chin, thinking, "Gifts for my superficial friends sorted out, Hermione, Harry, and Old Tom's Diagon Alley?"

Ron wasn't exactly a superficial friend.

But Ron was particularly proud; whatever level of gift you gave him, he had to reciprocate with the same level of gift.

  So, some sweets would do.

"Hmm, then I need to change my clothes."

  Gem: 30153.835 (-80)

[The Elegant Wizard's Clothing Shop] activated.

On the neatly arranged clothes rack, a cream-colored winter robe, adorned with silver trim, a cloak and gown all in one, vanished into thin air.

Two Galleons floated from mid-air, clinking as they landed on the desk of the dozing shopkeeper.

Changing into the winter robe, all that remained was finding a way to get to Diagon Alley.

That was simple too—the Floo Network.

There was a corresponding hearth in Diagon Alley, so there was no need to go to the Leaky Cauldron, and therefore no need to worry about being recognized by Old Tom.

While the Floo Network had usage records, it didn't include the users.

At this moment, the fireplace in the house marked [Hangis Family House] was empty.

The glittering Floo Powder in the silver bowl proved that this place was connected to the Floo Network.

  A minute later.

The fireplace flames turned green and suddenly leaped up.

"Diagon Alley!" Basil stepped into the green flames.

Beside the winding, seemingly endless cobblestone street, covered in snow, a stone fireplace suddenly turned green and spewed forth.

A small figure emerged, his face hidden in a hood.

Passersby on the cobblestones didn't glance in their direction.

To them, he was just another person using the Floo Network to stroll through Diagon Alley.

Dwarfs weren't unusual; wizards with goblin blood were usually shorter.

This figure was Basil, still 11 years old and not yet fully grown.

He stood there, stunned for a moment.

Then that familiar mechanical voice rang out again.

[Zzz...Zzz Location [Diagon Alley] [London] Activated]

The world in his mind expanded once more, extending from [Hogsmeade Station] along the train tracks, encompassing all of London, including the magical world behind the [Leaky Cauldron].

His range of movement and invincibility has increased again.

From now on in London, when facing him, dragons will coil up and tigers will crouch down.

Keep in mind, London is the seat of the British government, both in the Muggle and wizarding worlds.

The office of the British Muggle Prime Minister is at 10 Downing Street.

The headquarters of the British Ministry of Magic is located in the basement of a telephone booth near Westminster Underground station.

It's also worth mentioning that London has a [Fancy Wizarding Clothing Shop]. The

[Woo's Orphanage] where Voldemort was raised, the [St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Injuries], the largest wizarding hospital in the wizarding world, [12 Grimmauld Place], the ancestral home of the Black family, and Hermione's house are all in London.

Unfortunately, due to the slow updates of NetEase's game, a map of London has never been released.

Therefore, only the buildings in Diagon Alley are currently lit up.

  [Mystery Shop]

  [Madam Malkin's Robes Shop]

  [Weasley's Tricks Shop]

  [Gringotts]

  [Owl Post Office]

  [Olivendine's Wand Shop]

  [Quidditch Boutique]

Among these, [Olivendine's Wand Shop] is different from the game; it's located at the end of Diagon Alley.

[Mystery Shop] and [Weasley's Tricks Shop] can only be accessed through consciousness. This is

because [Mystery Shop] doesn't exist in reality, and [Weasley's Tricks Shop] hasn't been built yet. Since Fred is alive, the statue of him waving his top hat outside his shop is unlikely to be the real one.

  Consciously entering [Weasley's Tricks Shop].

Inside, there really is a tall, thin version of George Fred, only with a right ear.

Upon entering, three data bars appear in the upper right corner of his vision:

  Galleons: 1743,

  Silver Sickles: 2348,

  Bronze Nate: 7883.

Wow! This actually shows his current assets, including those in Gringotts.

The information in his mind told him that he could obtain the interesting products from Weasley's Magic Tricks Shop, such as the [Peruvian Smoke Bomb], [Daydream Curse], [Canary Cookies], [Love Potion], [Quick-Acting Skip-Class Candy], [Fever Candy], [Extendable Ears], [Constipation Kernel], [Edible Dark Magic Mark], and [Anti-Curse Hat], which had not yet been released, with real-world currency.

After targeting gems, the game was now eyeing his real-world currency?

  His wallet was in danger!!!

Unfortunately, the [Mystery Shop] parked on the street only had that despicable puppet shopkeeper and his seemingly overflowing truck.

And when opened, its shelves were empty, perhaps due to the absence of crucial [Fashion Components] and [Forbidden Forest Components].

You see, some [Fashion], [Wand Appearances], [Card Skins], and bedding were obtained through a spinning wheel on the shelves.

Although his transmigrated game account was a fully-funded account, what if the system updated again?

He wouldn't be able to get the new ones.

Good news: He wouldn't have to worry about running out of gems.

Bad news: He couldn't spin the wheel anymore.

He could only vent his anger by casting ten Killing Curses on it.

The same was true for the [Madam Malkin's Robes Shop].

It should have had directly sold [Fashion] items, and a dressing mirror for changing [Eye Color], [Eye Makeup], [Face Shape], [Skin Tone], [Earrings], [Eyes], [Hat], and [Clothes].

  But it didn't.

However, after entering the [Olivend's Wand Shop], clicking the '.' above Ollivander's head—which only he could see—and selecting to buy a wand, he could indeed see various [Wand Appearances],

but their function was the same as the wand inventory.

His account was fully-funded, so he had no need for them.

Furthermore, considering that buying a wand from Ollivander would be recorded, he didn't buy a matching wand from the real-world [Olivend's Wand Shop].
