Chapter 3 - The First Customer Disaster

Life at Jugaad Junction had officially become more complicated.

The house that once struggled with just three useless adults… now had a baby, a mysterious girl, and even more chaos than before. Morning had barely started, and already, the situation was out of control.

Meher Zainab stood near the small broken kitchen, trying to prepare something for baby Ayaan. Meanwhile, Ragz was sitting with a notebook, pretending to plan his future, but in reality, he was just staring at a blank page.

Zoro, as usual, was practicing acting in front of a cracked mirror.

"This pain… this struggle… makes me stronger…" he said dramatically, placing a hand on his heart.

Fixer walked past him and casually replied—

"It makes you jobless."

Zoro froze.

"…You don't respect art."

Fixer smirked.

"Art doesn't pay rent."

Ragz suddenly slammed his notebook shut.

"STOP! We need to focus!"

Everyone looked at him.

"We have a guest house with zero guests, zero money, and now extra responsibilities. If we don't do something today, we are done."

Meher quietly listened while feeding Ayaan.

Then she spoke softly—

"Why don't you try getting customers?"

Three seconds of silence.

Then Zoro burst out laughing.

"Wow… genius idea. Why didn't we think of that?"

Fixer nodded seriously.

"Because customers need a place worth staying."

Ragz stood up.

"Enough sarcasm. Today, we fix this place and get our first guest."

Zoro suddenly got excited.

"YES! Finally, my acting skills will shine. I will welcome guests like a 5-star hotel manager!"

Fixer looked around at the broken walls, flickering lights, and dusty furniture.

"…First fix the 5-star part."

And just like that, the mission began.

For the next few hours, chaos ruled Jugaad Junction.

Ragz tried fixing a broken chair but ended up breaking it more.

Zoro cleaned the windows but accidentally shattered one.

Fixer attempted to repair the fan, and somehow… the lights went off completely.

"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Ragz shouted.

"Relax… electricity is just taking a break." Fixer replied calmly.

Meher watched all this silently… then shook her head.

Without saying much, she stepped in.

Within minutes, she organized the room, cleaned the mess, and even managed to fix small things properly.

The boys stood there… shocked.

Zoro whispered—

"…She is dangerous."

Fixer nodded.

"Very."

Ragz crossed his arms.

"…Impressive."

For the first time, the guest house actually looked… decent.

Not perfect.

But livable.

Ragz took a deep breath.

"Alright… now we wait."

And surprisingly…

They didn't have to wait long.

KNOCK. KNOCK.

Everyone froze.

Zoro whispered dramatically—

"…It's happening."

Fixer quickly fixed his hair.

"First customer."

Ragz walked to the door, trying to look professional.

He opened it.

A middle-aged man stood outside with a suitcase. He looked confused… and slightly disappointed already.

"Is this… Jugaad Junction?"

Ragz forced a smile.

"Yes! Welcome sir!"

Zoro suddenly jumped in front like a hotel manager.

"WELCOME TO OUR LUXURY EXPERIENCE!"

The man looked at the broken board, then at Zoro.

"…Luxury?"

Fixer quickly added—

"Budget luxury."

The man hesitated… then sighed.

"Fine. I just need a place for one night."

Ragz nodded quickly.

"Of course, sir! Please come in."

Inside, everything seemed okay… for exactly 30 seconds.

Then chaos began.

The fan suddenly stopped.

The lights flickered.

Ayaan started crying loudly.

Zoro tried to calm the situation with fake confidence—

"Sir, this is part of our… natural experience."

The man frowned.

"…What?"

Fixer added—

"We believe in simplicity."

Suddenly, the chair the man sat on broke.

He fell.

Hard.

Silence.

Ragz closed his eyes.

"…We are dead."

The man stood up angrily.

"This place is a disaster!"

Zoro panicked.

"No sir, this is just… rehearsal. Real service starts now!"

Fixer whispered—

"Stop talking."

Meher quickly stepped forward, calm and composed.

"I'm really sorry, sir. We'll fix everything immediately."

Her voice was steady.

Real.

The man looked at her… then sighed.

"…Fine. One chance."

Everyone froze in surprise.

Ragz blinked.

"…Really?"

The man nodded.

"But if anything else goes wrong… I'm leaving."

Zoro whispered—

"…We are finished."

Fixer replied—

"Already were."

But somehow…

Against all odds…

They had their first customer.

And maybe…

Just maybe…

This broken place had a chance.
