So I had my sit as the CEO instructed, then the conversation started and he said, "You have been working for 5 years now with me and I really appreciate your assistance and loyalty you have towards me. Since you are one of my best workers I want to promote you from being an ordinary staff to being my personal assistant, if you are interested in the offer."
And I replied to him immediately with joy and excitement saying, "Yes sir I want it," and stood up immediately to hug him as I was leaving. He said to me that there will be changes which are different from your old position and so I replied to him with a smile and asked what are the changes. Then he said he will send a letter containing the requirements of the job and he will send some uniforms for me to wear as his personal assistant.
So I left the office still smiling and so I went back down to the last floor of the building. Moments later the letter I was waiting for finally arrived. In the letter contained a lot of things but I grabbed most of the important part which was that my pay will now be times four greater than the payment I was receiving when I was an ordinary staff which amazed me because it helped will assist me to run away from poverty. The second part of the letter contained resuming earlier than when I used to wake up and I will also be picked up by a driver who will take me to the CEO'S house to pick him up. And so has for the last part which said I will follow the CEO home when it's closing and return to my own home later after I was done from his home, which left me confused but my excitement was more than the confusion so I put it aside for some time.
at me like as if I was already the CEO of a company. I didn't look at that much, I just said to myself that there is no going back so I entered the car.
On getting to the CEO'S house I discovered that he lived in a very expensive estate which I thought only people of high standards lived in, though an estate I thought was reserved for the elite. Of course, the CEO had high standards, but I hadn't realized just how deep his pockets were until now. I didn't take it that serious cause the CEO makes a lot of money from the company he runs and I also heard that the company I work in is one of his many companies.
So we reached the CEO'S house and it looked like he was waiting for us already. As the CEO came out I went towards him to help carry his file which he only takes everytime he comes. He came out with his classic CEO'S wear and entered the car as I greeted him and he replied saying, "How are you BELLA?" and I answered saying, "Fine sir." Some minutes later we reached and he was shocked to see what happened as we arrived.
