Ulman looks at Liatart's arm, as from earlier, he just stopped a sword with his arm despite such a deep injury that cut half of his arm. Liatart seems not to care or try to heal it; he just grabbed a piece of his cloth and closed the cut.
General Ulman: How is your arm?
Liatart: Why are you asking?
General: I'm just concerned. Why didn't you use your sword back there?
Liatart: I just don't think it is necessary
General Ulman paused and looked back at the fire. He then asks Liatart more.
General Ulman: You don't feel that pain, don't you?
Liatart is silent for a few minutes, then he replies
Liatart: There are multiple types of pain out there. My arms are just ano...
Ulman cut him off and asked.
General Ulman: Your Inner pain, I kinda understand if you're about to die inside, no amount of physical pain will ever be stronger. I used to go through the same thing before. I see my country's society kill itself; since that day, I have also died in some part of my life.
Liatart looks at him,
Liatart: So, you understand what it felt like when you were being overwhelmed by a dying emotion?
General Ulman: I do in some areas, and I think I can understand that you didn't heal your arm and just let it bleed
Liatart: I.... Just wanted to escape from my mind, that's all. This pain did help me a bit.
