They didn't prepare for a party. Jax had said, "We're just having fun at home." But as evening came, Kai's heart was beating fast.
Elena came down from her room. She was wearing a red dress. The neckline was deep, showing half of her breasts. The fabric hugged her waist tightly and stretched over her hips. She had put on high heels. With every step, her hips swayed.

Jax stood up. He looked at Elena. "Shall we dance?"

Kai stood up. "I'm going to the bathroom," he said.

A minute later there was a knock on the door. Elena came in.
"I can't sleep," she said.
Kai said, "Me neither."
