"It's me honey, y... your wife!"Nina was in tears saying this as she walked close and tried to squeez his hand but Conrad moved his immediately to avoid their contact.Nina's eyes tried to search for her loving and sweet husband but this one looked like a stranger in Conrad's body.She tried to make a sense of contact with their eyes but his eyes were so... blank and cold.
Her heart stopped beating for a moment unsure what to do. In the frozen position,her lips parted to tell him something but her voice trailed off as she stared at his cold eyes.For a moment she hoped for him to smile and tell her that he has been joking but his face didn't give any hope.This moment had left both Mr and Mrs Williams in shock.All they could do was to stare at each other with their mouths wide open.
Nina's hands trembled as she tried to support herself with the hospital walls.Her breath froze and it was like everything had stopped...her lungs forgot how to move, her heart forgot how to beat.Hot painful tears trickled down her cheeks as she tried to get her heavy body outside the wardroom.
Her chest was too heavy as if locked then there was a big scream inside...too big for her body but can't get out... just echoing inside her.
Her eyes were blinded with darkness when she left the room.

How can a wife respond to the question,"Who are you?" from her husband who has gotten out of coma!How can she possibly listen to more than that?
"Ma'am! What happened?"Mary,their maid, asked the broken Nina.Nina twitched the corners of her mouth and forced an evident painful smile."You see Mary,my husband is awake.Prepare a great supper, it's going to be delightful today."
"T-this is good news ma'am, b-b-but why are you like this.... like broken...a lot?Mary was lost,she didn't know how to react to both Nina's news and appearance at the same time;she didn't know if she should jump for joy or sympathise with her appearance.Broken Nina left for 'their room' having no possible answer for Mary's question.

Conrad's parents finally collected themselves from the shocking news that they didn't seem to believe or understand.
"Son,we need to get you home now!"Mr Williams said to his strange son.His son, lying with his eyes wide open ,didn't respond immediately which gave him a chance to whisper to Hana standing on the opposite side of the bed.
"Hana,do you think he has forgotten that I used to buy him ice cream when he was young!"
"I think so!But I don't think he has forgotten that you beat him in the fourth grade."
"I can hear you!"Their whispering was disrupted by Conrad's cold voice.
"Let's get home and celebrate!"Mrs Williams said happily.
Conrad's world seemed normal but he didn't understand somethings.For example he couldn't understand why a strange lady would break down in tears just by him not recognising her. Most surprising,he didn't understand why his parents were around and.... together.
Conrad was very familiar to the road and all the places to their home...he knew them.
"Home sweet home!Come on son!"Hana said happily as he ushered Conrad who was supported by his father.
"Welcome sir.Thank heavens... You're here safe and sound."Mary welcomed Conrad happily as she opened the door to his spacious house."We prepared the bathtub for you and Mrs Nina is waiting for you in your room."
"Nina? Who's Nina?"Conrad asked making Mary to break into a laughter.Mary then stilled her laughter wondering what happened to Mr Conrad for him get back with such a sense of humour.Both Hana and her divorced husband chuckled awkwardly as they helped Conrad to get in.
"I can do it on my own!"The cold son declined their help.
Conrad walked direct to his room, his spacious bedroom.He couldn't believe the look of his room after entering.
"Bloody hell!What happened to my room!"He shouted to himself.Nina walked out of the bathroom after hearing his voice.
Conrad could not believe that she was actually coming out of 'his' bathroom.
"What are you doing in my bathroom lady?"He lowered his voice but disappointment was written all over his face.
Nina forced a painful smile."So it's true you don't remember me!"
"No!I don't know you!"He said with a soft mocking voice and with rage in his eyes,he decided to stalk closer to her.
Nina's eyes finally meet with the new Conrad in person, his beauty had never changed; his strong angular face with chiseled nose and a sharp jawline...then his piercing brown eyes...then his dark hair,messy but totally on point... everything was the same only that he looked meaner than the previous Conrad.
Nina's eyes were locked with his as he stalked her, then for a moment she couldn't take his furious gaze so she backed away slowly until she hit the wall.He pinned her against the wall, his strange stormy scared her even more.His hand slammed the wall caging her in as he leaned towards her.His hot breath fanned through Nina's face causing shivers all over Nina's body.He then asked with gentle but almost cruel voice,"What do you want?My money?Say it!"
These cruel words penetrated through Nina's heart like a dagger."You're my husband Conrad!You're my love,my soulmate!"She managed to say something with a cracking voice while looking at his cold eyes.For a moment she hoped for kindness from those eyes....but they were not 'her Conrad's' so they had no kindness for her.He finally uncaged her from the wall."I don't know what plans you have but my parents are definitely involved. So get out of my room and tell them I won't participate in their game this time."He coldly said pointing his finger at her.
Conrad then turned his back at her going for the drawers.He started looking for something."Where's my phone?"He couldn't find his phone so he turned back to Nina."Hey, how do they call you again?I need my phone."
"Who do you want to call Conrad?"Nina asked walking towards him as she rubbed the trickling tears with her hand.
"Am I going to report to you now?"He shouted with mockery but Nina was more concerned about the phone.
"Am serious Conrad!Who do you want to call?"
"Since I have to report to a stranger in my own house, okay then! I want to call Rael."
"What? R-R-Rael? This can't be happening!"Nina felt like someone was rubbing salt to her fresh wound.She lost conscious and fell.
