Well, isn't this marvelous? Here I was in school, a rather normal place to be if I ignored a few people nearby.
To my left sat Peter Parker, with a deceptively lanky frame and messy brown hair above tired hazel eyes. Beside him was Mary Jane, whose average frame was easily overlooked next to her vibrant red hair and bright green eyes. Totally not a big deal, nor was the rest of the class, except for the fact that I had Black Cat to my right. Felicia Hardy's lithe body outshone MJ's by miles, her white hair cascading over her shoulders and framing those piercing emerald eyes.
Yeah.
So–
'Ah.'
When I turned my head to the front, I saw another bombshell. Gwen Stacy, possessing a slim athletic build that didn't lose to Felica's. Her sharp blue eyes hid many things behind them, as her bright blonde hair fell like a waterfall, adding to her both smart and undeniably attractive face.
"Alright, form groups!"
'What?!'
Mj started moving desks while I was in shock. A group of five was formed with me as one of its members, despite my not saying a word.
"'Sup, name's Felicia Hardy. Call me whatever." Felicia leaned back, the metal legs of her chair letting out a sharp, protesting scrape against the floor as she gave me an amused smile. Her white hair reflected the sunlight, giving her an unnecessary charm boost.
Gwen didn't hesitate to go second, her eyes flickering toward Felicia for an intense, brief moment before settling on me. "I'm Gwen Stacy. Feel free to call me Gwen."
She offered a nod, though I could swear I saw a faint twitch of her brow as she waited for something from me.
"Mary Jane, but please call me MJ!" The redhead chimed in, her voice cutting through the strange tension with friendly warmth. She leaned forward, her vibrant hair cascading over her shoulder.
"Peter Parker, just Peter is fine." Peter rubbed the back of his neck, the friction making his messy brown hair even more of a disaster. He gave a weary, sincere grin, though his hazel eyes were scanning me with the same strange intensity as Gwen.
I blinked with the sudden variety of attention. A blue panel was in the center of where I was looking, but I couldn't afford to look crazy. Everything was moving way too fast for me, though. I just got here, and a transmigrator couldn't get a little pause!
"Julius Montgomery. Just call me Julius." My actual name, even back in my original world. I didn't have any memories of this body to work with, so I went with the name I knew best. With the introductions out of the way, I focused on the blue screen in front of me.
[Host has been successfully transmigrated.]
[This system understands that things may seem odd, but due to various forces, this is the only time you could be safely transmigrated.]
Wow. Talk about ominous.
[Now, why were you transmigrated? Well, you and your universe's Infinity Stones accidentally collided. Unfortunately, eradicating your body. Though because of the collision, I got created from that interaction, and here we are.]
I started sweating.
'What can you do? Hopefully, you were something I can work with.'
[Nothing too crazy, as in I can't make you immediately overpowered. Each universe's Infinity Stones only work in their respective universes, so you don't have access to those powers either.]
[However!]
[Through what you've taken in, be it what you've read, watched, or listened to. I can make the abilities or items a reality as long as the prerequisite is met.]
'Before you move on. Do you have a name?'
[No. I was just created.]
'Touché.'
I had to pause my interaction with the system. The group's conversation was turning towards me.
"What about you, Julius?"
It felt weird having Mary Jane ask me a question, and even weirder that the other three were still staring at me like I was a threat.
"The question was one goal of mine?"
"Yep!"
I smiled. The system's text made the future ahead of me very clear.
[By interacting with the world in significant ways, you get Karma Points (KP) to spend in the shop, which can get you what I've already explained.]
"A goal of mine is to help the Earth."
"Wow! That's a great goal!"
Mary Jane and Peter nodded with smiles, looking at me approvingly. Gwen and Felicia seem to have understood the hidden meaning in my words.
Gwen swept a loose strand of her blonde hair. "When you say help the Earth… what lengths are you talking?"
"The lengths necessary."
Felicia smirked. Gwen just nodded. While the other two just kept their own thoughts.
[Host has impressed Felicia Hardy.]
[Host has intrigued Gwen Stacy.]
[Mary Jane and Peter Parker are happy to have met someone else with a grand goal.]
[+400 KP]
[Also, you do have a bonus from the leftover energy from the collision.]
Sweet.
"How do you guys feel about all the supernatural stuff in the world?" Mary Jane's question was innocent, but watching the three before me flinch made me chuckle.
"What's funny?"
"Your question just hits home; the supernatural is just so fascinating. I love getting really close to the action." I made my words really obvious to the trio. If it wasn't already obvious, they already had their supernatural gifts from how they reacted.
Mary Jane nodded with a smile and turned to the other two. I'm sure she already knew Peter's answer. The other three, though, stared at me even more intensely. With Mary Jane not looking at me, I mouthed a secret little message to them.
"Hello, my superpowered pals!"
Was the message. Felicia just shrugged, while Gwen and Peter started sweating.
[Felicia Hardy has become super interested in the Host.]
[Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy are a little afraid of the Host.]
[+600 KP]
Felicia blew out the gum in her mouth into a bubble.
"I think it's cool! I think the men are pretty hot too, so that I wouldn't mind a superpowered hubby!"
Mary Jane blushed. Peter and Gwen were feeling a little awkward. Peter scratched the side of his face, while Gwen rolled her blue eyes with a faint pink hue on her ears.
"Oh yeah?"
"Yeah! Know anyone?" Felicia moved her seat closer to mine, switching to a whisper. "You seem interesting enough."
"And you seem friendly enough. Want to go eat after school?"
"Is this a date?"
"Absolutely."
"Pfft~, see ya after school then," she replied with a playful wink, her extremely seductive body settling back into her chair full of mischief.
"What are you two whispering about?" Mj asked.
"Oh, just how funny it would be if you were a hidden superhero trying to gauge if we can be friends or not." I joked.
"W-What?! If I had any powers, I would be helping people right now and definitely not attending school!" MJ had the textbook answer, clearly unaware of the uniqueness of the trio surrounding her.
Peter and Gwen tensed, beads of nervous sweat forming on their faces as they looked at me with pleading gazes.
"P-Bahaha~ sorry, sorry." I waved my hands in defeat, successfully hiding our true conversation. Felicia seemed to slip something to Gwen sneakily in the meantime, while Peter also wasn't free from her sneaky moves, her slender fingers moving with a dexterity that was almost too fast for the human eye to track.
