for Advance Chapter
To prove her point, Lingsha took a deep breath, and her previously gentle and peaceful demeanor suddenly changed.
I clearly felt a rich, warm breath, brimming with vitality, emanating from her, like spring returning to the earth and all things reviving.
That was the compassionate and inclusive power of the Abundance.
Then, in the blink of an eye, this aura underwent a strange transformation!
The warmth remained, but it was no longer simply healing and nourishing; it had acquired an indescribable, domineering power, like seeds bursting from the soil, growing wildly, brimming with primal vitality and the desire for expansion!
That was...that was "breeding"!
Lingsha had actually switched her destiny from "abundance" to "propagation" right in front of Jingliu!
Although it was only a subtle change in aura, for a powerhouse of Jingliu's caliber, such a fundamental transformation was absolutely identifiable!
Sure enough, after witnessing Lingsha's fate shift, the last trace of killing intent in Jingliu's eyes completely vanished.
She looked silently at Lingsha, then at me, her gaze complex and unreadable, as if she were processing the information or re-evaluating something.
The suffocating chill in the room finally dissipated completely, and the air seemed to warm up slightly.
After a moment of silence, Jingliu stood up, her movements still swift and efficient, and began silently putting on the clothes she had casually tossed aside.
She put her blue-black Xianzhou attire back on, each movement regaining its former precision and coldness, as if the intense, desperate, and unrestrained affair from moments ago had never happened.
She didn't even glance at me again. After straightening her clothes, she walked straight toward the door.
Just when I thought she was about to leave, she suddenly stopped at the doorway and, without turning back, spoke in a voice so cold it held not a single ripple:
"Starting today, I'm moving into this home."
Her tone was flat, yet carried an unquestionable decisiveness, as if she were merely informing us of a given fact, without any intention of seeking Lingsha's or my opinion.
After saying that, she pushed open the door and walked straight out, leaving Lingsha and me staring at each other in the room.
You've moved in...? That's it?
I looked at Lingsha, and saw that her face bore the exact same expression as mine—a mixture of helplessness, embarrassment, and a hint of ironic amusement.
We exchanged an awkward smile, and ultimately could only sigh softly, silently accepting the truth.
Night fell quietly as the villa's lights came on, dispelling the last chill of dusk.
Inside the restaurant, the long table was laden with a sumptuous feast, mostly Xianzhou delicacies prepared by Lingsha herself, perfect in color, aroma, and taste, making one's mouth water.
However, the atmosphere around the table at that moment was somewhat...peculiar.
I sat at the head of the table, with Lingsha sitting right next to me.
And she was still wearing that white apron, with nothing underneath.
She seemed to have completely forgotten about it, or perhaps she did it on purpose. Lingsha gently served me, picking up a piece of translucent cured meat and holding it to my lips with a soft smile: "Trailblazer, try this. It's something new I've learned..."
I was naturally happy to accept the favor, so I readily agreed and savored it.
She continued to serve me with focused attention, pouring tea and adding rice with elegant and skillful movements, her face glowing with happiness and contentment, as if I were the only person in her world.
This uninhibited intimacy, seemingly oblivious to everyone else, was naturally observed by the two people sitting across the table from us.
Silver Wolf was engrossed in her work, devouring the food on the table like a whirlwind. Her mouth was stuffed full, yet she still mumbled under her breath, "Tsk tsk tsk... so sappy... I can't bear to look..."
Jingliu, sitting next to Silver Wolf, seemed completely out of place.
The utensils before her hadn't moved an inch. She sat upright, her cold, crimson eyes fixed on Lingsha in disbelief as the latter served me in a nearly subservient manner.
She seemed unable to comprehend, or perhaps unable to accept, the scene unfolding before her.
Finally, as Lingsha gently wiped away another non-existent grease from the corner of my mouth, Jingliu's cold voice shattered the eerie balance.
"Lingsha," she said, her voice calm yet possessing a natural authority, "I recall that you are the Cauldron Master of the Vidyadhara. Your status is noble, and you are revered by ten thousand."
She paused, her gaze shifting to me with undisguised contempt, then returning to Lingsha, her tone icy and questioning: "As the Cauldron Master, why are you willing to go this far for this man?"
Jingliu's words were like icicles, piercing through the facade of warmth.
Silver Wolf stopped eating, looked up, and watched with interest, as if preparing to see a good show.
My heart tightened slightly; I wondered how Lingsha would respond to this legend of the past.
However, Lingsha's reaction surprised all of us.
Far from being embarrassed or offended, she turned to the mirror and gave Jingliu a warm, radiant smile—a smile as gentle as sunlight melting ice, filled with relief and happiness.
"Hehe," Lingsha chuckled and shook her head. "Master Jingliu misunderstands. I am no longer the Cauldron Master."
She reached out her slender hand, covered in red scales, and gently placed it on my arm. Her eyes sparkled with tenderness, and her voice carried an unwavering pride and satisfaction.
"In gratitude for the Trailblazer's solution to the propagation problem that had plagued our people for a thousand years, the Vidyadhara have...gifted me to him."
She lowered her head slightly, a touch of wifely shyness on her face, yet her tone was utterly frank: "Therefore, Lingsha now is merely an ordinary wife serving her husband. Compared to the Trailblazer's kindness toward the Vidyadhara, doing these small things for my husband is simply my duty and my heart's desire—it's nothing to boast about."
Lingsha's words were calm and gentle, yet they resonated with conviction.
Every word clearly stated her stance and heart—she was no longer the lofty Cauldron Master, but someone who willingly and proudly became my wife.
These words clearly had a huge impact on Jingliu.
For the first time, I saw a clear and intense emotion appear on Jingliu's perpetually frosty face.
Her pupils seemed to contract slightly, her eyes filled with complex, unreadable emotions—shock, disbelief, and perhaps even a hint of...being touched?
She fell silent, remaining silent for a long time, only staring blankly at Lingsha and then at me.
The atmosphere at the table became momentarily tense.
In the end, Jingliu said nothing.
She silently withdrew her gaze, lowered her eyelids, then stood up, turned and left the dining room without a word, walking alone toward her bedroom.
That back, seemingly as cold and aloof as ever, yet carrying an indescribable sense of desolation.
Watching Jingliu's silent departure, my heart was filled with countless emotions.
Lingsha's words may have unintentionally touched the softest and most vulnerable spot in the heart of this frozen sword champion.
Beside the table, Silver Wolf had already resumed her flamboyant posture, seemingly unconcerned about everything that had just happened. She simply muttered, "Pshaw, how boring."
Lingsha, meanwhile, turned her gentle gaze back to me, as if nothing had happened, and asked softly, "Trailblazer, would you like another bowl of soup?"
Dinner ended in a slightly subtle atmosphere.
Silver Wolf seemed completely unbothered by the little incident; she yawned and slipped back to her room.
"Trailblazer, I will clear the dishes," Lingsha said softly, beginning to expertly gather the utensils.
"I'll help." I naturally wouldn't let her do the work alone, so I got up and followed her into the kitchen.
