Herta looked at me—lying motionless on the bed, face pale—and whispered to Ruan Mei: "Hmph, a fool who only thinks with his lower half. I think we should just let him die; it'd save trouble!"

Even though her voice was small, I heard it and couldn't help but smile bitterly.

Just then, a familiar, cool plum blossom scent with a hint of sweetness drifted into my nose. I realized Ruan Mei was beside me, and using the last of my strength, I whispered her name: "Ruan... Mei..." I tried to lift my hand to touch her, to confirm her presence, but my arm felt like it weighed a thousand pounds and couldn't be raised.

A cool, soft hand gently covered my forehead. Ruan Mei's gentle voice sounded in my ear: "Don't move. Your stamina is severely overdrawn; you need to replenish energy and rest immediately." Then, a light, gentle kiss—carrying her unique body temperature and scent—fell on my forehead.

Following that, I felt a slight prick in my arm as Ruan Mei started an intravenous drip. Cool fluid flowed slowly into my veins, bringing a weak sense of refreshment.

After some time, under the effect of the IV, I felt my body regain a tiny bit of strength—at least enough to barely sit up. Seeing this, Ruan Mei immediately summoned a household service robot cart with light but nutritious liquid food. She picked up the bowl and spoon and actually... began to patiently feed me like I was a baby.

Watching her—pregnant, yet still so meticulous and gentle—my heart was filled with indescribable emotion and a hint of guilt. Meanwhile, Big Herta, though still relentless with her sharp tongue and occasional cold snorts, didn't leave. She stood in the corner with her arms crossed, silently directing the puppets to finish the cleanup and ensure the room was restored to order.

It seemed my two "former wives," though having vastly different personalities and ways of expression, did... care about me after all?

By mid-morning, after the IV and feeding, and another short rest, I finally regained some of my senses, though my body was still too weak to move freely. Afterward, Ruan Mei and Herta gathered everyone currently in the villa for a somewhat serious "morning meeting" in the living room.

In the spacious living room, Himeko, Black Swan, Jingliu, March 7th, Silver Wolf, and Lingsha all took seats on the sofas. Even Ruan Mei and Herta found places to sit. Eight peerless beauties—each with her own style—gathered in one room; the lineup was truly staggering. And I was carefully pushed to a corner in my wheelchair by a puppet to listen in, like a "problem child" needing special supervision.

Ruan Mei cleared her throat and spoke first, her voice calm and cool but carrying an unquestionable authority: "I've called everyone here because there is some important information regarding 'Path' research to share. However, before that, we need to make some necessary plans for life in the villa—specifically centered around the Trailblazer's activities."

She paused, her gaze sweeping over everyone before landing on me: "According to my understanding, there are currently eight women living here or with close ties to the Trailblazer." She pointed to those present. "Adding the temporarily absent Kafka and Firefly, the total has reached ten. Moreover, considering the unique nature of the Trailblazer's constitution, this number is likely to increase in the future."

"Although the Trailblazer has a Stellaron to provide a constant stream of energy, any energy extraction and conversion has a limit." Ruan Mei's tone turned serious. "What happened last night... was a danger signal. Excessive depletion could lead to the Stellaron in his body losing balance, or even causing a catastrophic rampage. We must absolutely avoid this situation."

To prevent another "sucked dry" accident like the one last night, Ruan Mei proposed several clear rules: "Therefore, after discussion between Herta and myself, we have agreed that we must strictly limit the frequency and duration of the Trailblazer's 'energy interactions' with everyone."

"First: To ensure the Trailblazer has sufficient recovery time and for the stability of research data, starting today, the Trailblazer's 'deep contact' with any woman shall not exceed two and a half hours per day (about one 'shichen')."

"Second: To avoid excessive concentrated energy depletion, the Trailblazer may only have deep contact with a maximum of three women per day."

"Third: Two mandatory 'recuperation days' must be scheduled per week. During these two days, any form of 'deep energy interaction' with him is forbidden, allowing him to fully rest and recover his physical strength."

As Ruan Mei finished announcing these rules, the living room went silent for a moment. Everyone's eyes landed on me—pale and sitting in a wheelchair.

Then, almost in unison, everyone expressed their agreement. Being stared at by so many eyes while discussing such... private topics regarding my "usage" limits made my face burn with shame. I wanted nothing more than to disappear into a crack in the floor, and I could only hang my head low.

At that moment, the gentle Lingsha broke the awkwardness. Looking at me, she said softly: "The Trailblazer does not need to worry too much. I will prepare more medicinal meals to nourish Qi and blood and replenish stamina, helping my husband recover as quickly as possible."

Jingliu, sitting on the other side, added coldly—her voice not loud but carrying a chill of killing intent: "The rules are set. If anyone dares to cross the line or demand too much, don't blame the sword in my hand for being merciless." Her gaze swept over a few of the more "lively" figures, such as Silver Wolf and March 7th, making them instinctively shrink their necks.

It seemed that for my "health" and "sustainable development," this unique "harem" had finally established some regulations.
