The very first thing Sienna did when she woke up was check her phone. As usual, she began her day by looking through her messages and notifications.
The night before, she had deliberately turned off her phone after sending Zachary a brief text. She had been worried that if he called, he would immediately realize something had happened to her.
As soon as the phone powered on, notifications began appearing one after another.
A few seconds later, she finally saw Zachary's message.
"Good night, my wife. Have fun with Sky tomorrow! Don't forget to send me a picture or video of you and Sky."
A smile slowly spread across her lips as she read his text. He hadn't called her or asked about her injury, which meant Logan had kept his promise and hadn't told him anything.
"Thank you, Logan..." she murmured softly.
