Synopsis
In the primordial age of the ninja world, long before legends like Naruto and Madara were even born, one man chose a different path. While others chased power, he chose eternity. Wanci, an immortal bound by a mysterious system, possesses endless life but is forever capped just below the realm of gods. Unable to break through by strength alone, he turns to the only advantage he truly has… time. He witnesses everything. The rise of Kaguya. The era of the Sage of Six Paths. The endless cycle of conflict between Indra and Asura. He does not rule. He does not dominate. Yet his shadow stretches across history. As centuries turn into millennia, Wanci quietly gathers knowledge, influence, and opportunity, waiting for the one moment that could shatter his limits and elevate him beyond fate itself. Because even immortality has a goal. To surpass time. To defy destiny. And to stand at the peak… not for a hundred years, but forever.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Immortal

Who understands Old Master Bo?

[Reader, how many years have you even been reading Tomato Novels?]

[I started back in 2019. Seven years of experience, a true veteran.]

"Wanci, you are the strongest person on this planet."

Kaguya Otsutsuki's voice was cool and clear, yet beneath it lingered a trace of earnest pleading.

"If Isshiki Otsutsuki is allowed to grow unchecked, your world will eventually be destroyed. And I… I refuse to become a sacrifice to that monster. I only wish to live a peaceful life with the one I love."

She lifted her gaze to Wanci, determination flashing in her pale eyes. "Why don't we join forces? We can set a trap for Isshiki and feed him to the Ten Tails."

"When the Divine Tree bears its chakra fruit, it will be yours."

Kaguya extended her offer slowly, her eyes fixed tightly on the young man before her.

Wanci remained silent, his expression solemn as he studied her. He said nothing for a long time, as if weighing the risks and rewards of joining forces against Isshiki.

Seeing no response, Kaguya's expression dimmed. She turned away slowly. "In a few days, I will be sacrificed to the Ten Tails. If you change your mind, come find me in the Land of Ancestors."

With that, her figure flickered and vanished silently at the cave's entrance.

Inside the cave, Wanci sat alone on a cold stone seat, lost in deep thought.

He did not belong to this world. He was a transmigrator.

When he first arrived, he thought he had fallen into ancient Japan. That illusion shattered when two streaks of light tore across the sky and the terrifying form of the Ten Tails appeared before him.

Only then did he realize the truth. This was not ancient Japan. This was the primordial era of the Naruto world.

From that moment on, Wanci pursued power like a madman. He sought strength. He sought immortality.

Heaven does not disappoint those who persevere. Against all odds, he found Mount Myoboku.

The sage arts passed down there set him on the path of cultivation, and his talent proved extraordinary.

Not only did he master senjutsu, he pushed Sage Mode to its absolute peak. His normal state was Sage Mode. No transformation required. No time limit. Natural energy flowed through him at all times.

And fortune favored him again.

In the same year he achieved permanent Sage Mode, the system descended upon him.

It presented two choices.

[Choice One: Invincible for One Hundred Years]

[Reward: Tomoe Rinnegan, Chakra Fruit, Otsutsuki Body…]

[Price: After one hundred years of invincibility, immediate death. No method can extend your life.]

[Choice Two: The Immortal]

[Reward: Eternal life. Infinite lifespan.]

[Price: Your strength will forever remain at the Super Kage level. You will never step into the Six Paths realm. You may come infinitely close, yet always fall just short, unless you encounter a heaven-defying opportunity.]

Faced with these two choices, Wanci did not hesitate for even a moment.

To him, eternity itself was the truest form of art.

A hundred years of invincibility might be exhilarating, but no fleeting madness could compare to savoring the passage of a thousand years.

He had only just arrived in this world. Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Madara, Hashirama. He had not met a single one of these legendary figures.

Combined with his obsession with immortality, the decision was obvious.

He chose The Immortal.

Super Kage level power was more than enough for him.

At worst, he could hide deep in the mountains and simply outlive everyone. Outlive Kaguya. Outlive the Sage of Six Paths. Outlive Indra and Asura.

Before the era of Madara and Hashirama, there was a long stretch of time where his level of power would allow him to dominate the world with almost no equal.

More importantly, at the Super Kage level, he would rarely find himself at a disadvantage.

His original plan had been simple. Wait until Kaguya was sealed, the Sage of Six Paths passed away, and Indra and Asura faded into history. Only then would he step back into the world. Safe. Certain.

But even the best plans can fail.

He had occasionally helped nearby villagers, and by sheer coincidence, he encountered the emperor of the Land of Ancestors traveling with Kaguya.

The emperor was an ordinary man and noticed nothing unusual.

Kaguya, however, was different.

With her Byakugan and vast experience, she immediately sensed something extraordinary about Wanci.

At that moment, Wanci had intended to summon a toad and escape to a safe refuge, but it was already too late. That chance encounter led directly to Kaguya seeking him out.

"Should I help her or not?"

Wanci stroked his chin, his brows furrowing slightly.

To be honest, Isshiki Otsutsuki was ruthless and incredibly dangerous.

His techniques were terrifying. The space manipulation of Daikokuten and the size-altering ability of Sukunahikona were practically impossible to counter. Even in close combat, Isshiki could overwhelm Naruto and Sasuke at their peak.

If Wanci intervened recklessly, he could easily be taken down with a few black rods and a handful of strikes.

The risk was immense.

But then another thought ignited within him.

"The chakra fruit…"

"Kaguya only became what she is because she consumed it. Nearly infinite chakra. An undying body. She ascended to the peak of the ninja world in a single leap."

"If I eat that fruit… could I break the system's limit and step into the Six Paths realm?"

The system had said it clearly. Only a miraculous opportunity could allow him to surpass his limit.

What if this chakra fruit was that opportunity?

If he succeeded, it would be a complete transformation.

Wanci narrowed his eyes and summoned the system panel.

[Name: Wanci]

[Constitution: Eternal Immortality]

[Lifespan: ∞]

[Abilities: Permanent Sage Mode, Toad-Style Sage Arts, Ape Clan Staff Techniques…]

"With my current strength, fighting Isshiki alone means near certain death."

He murmured to himself.

"But with Kaguya's help… In the original story, she successfully ambushed Isshiki. That means the chances are not low."

"If we succeed and I obtain the chakra fruit, everything changes."

He exhaled slowly, a spark igniting in his eyes.

Sometimes, going all in is its own kind of wisdom.

Besides, he had a fallback.

If things went wrong, he could retreat to Mount Myoboku.

"Alright. I'm in."

Wanci's eyes gleamed as he made his decision.

"Take the gamble. Turn a bicycle into a motorcycle."

Once he decided, he acted immediately.

The first step was preparing the necessary "tools."

Naturally, those would come from his old friends at Mount Myoboku.

After years in the ninja world, he had already formed deep bonds with the toads there.

"Reverse Summoning Jutsu."

No hand seals were needed.

The technique activated instantly with a thought.

Mount Myoboku appeared before him, bathed in daylight.

It looked much the same as it did in the original story.

"Mount Myoboku truly is a treasure. Even during the Infinite Tsukuyomi, it remained untouched."

Wanci moved with familiarity toward the Great Toad Hall.

"Oh? Wanci, you're here?"
