CeCe remained distracted even after leaving the waterfall behind. The image of the little cub falling into the violent water had already been terrifying enough, but what truly disturbed her was the moment afterwards. At this impossible moment, something invisible had answered her panic before she could even think properly.
She stopped walking and stared down at her own hands in silence. "Telekinesis?" she muttered with disbelief "Is that even possible?"
At first, she had genuinely believed her strange ability had something to do with mental pressure or emotional influence, maybe some mind control or illusion connected to anger and fear, especially after what happened to Hermione, but what she saw at the waterfall had been different. That cub had not imagined herself floating upward. Something had physically dragged her back.
