CeCe stood in front of the mirror-like crystal hanging on the cave wall while staring at herself for the tenth time.
Then she sighed. Then changed her clothes again. Emily, who had been sitting lazily on the bed watching the entire drama unfold, finally burst into laughter.
"My gosh," she wheezed while holding her stomach. "You have changed three times already."
CeCe immediately turned around defensively. "I'm not changing because of him."
Emily nodded seriously. "Of course."
"I mean it!"
"Mhmm." CeCe glared at her before looking back at herself again. The problem was not even her clothes. Everything suddenly looked wrong the moment Emily announced that Min Gui was around.
Too plain. Too bright. Too childish. Too much. She groaned and pulled at her hair in frustration.
"What if I accidentally embarrass myself again?"
