Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 The Language of Flowers for Geniuses, The Abyss Plane!

"Alright, you should rest first. It's too hot in here. Uncle will go outside for some fresh air."

Dong Zian suppressed the surging emotions in his heart, while his resolve to pursue his idea grew stronger.

  "

Uncle, what should I call you?"

Jiang Xiu asked softly as Dong Zian turned to leave.

"Uncle's name is Dong Zian. You can just call me Uncle Dong."

Dong Zian stopped, left those words, opened the Soul Guidance Gate, and strode out.

  "Dong Zian? Fierce Wolf Douluo!"

Jiang Xiu's purple eyes flickered upon hearing this, and he murmured to himself as memories of Dong Zian surfaced.

Dong Zian, commander of the Western Legion, a god-level mecha pilot, held a position in the military second only to Divine Brush Douluo Yu Guanzhi and Shrek Academy's Sweeper Monk Chen Xinjie, one of the leading figures of the Federation's hawkish faction.

But what impressed Jiang Xiu most wasn't any of that, but Dong Zi'an himself.

Dong Zi'an wasn't from a powerful family; he was a commoner, and even his martial soul was the most ordinary Blue-Faced Wolf.

Yet, Dong Zi'an, through sheer grit and determination, fought his way up from the bottom of the army to become a Limit Douluo and legion commander.

The words a certain master had once used to comfort him, "There are no useless martial souls, only useless soul masters," seemed to have been proven true by Dong Zi'an.

Most importantly, even after reaching this position and wielding such power, Dong Zi'an was still willing to fight alongside the soldiers of the Western Legion, leading the charge in the final battle against the Abyss Plane.

  "Truly a valiant general,"

Jiang Xiu couldn't help but sigh, feeling a surge of admiration. It was a pity that Dong Zi'an was ultimately betrayed by a spy from the Spirit Pagoda, leaving an indelible stain on his reputation.

"So, General Dong, what will you choose?"

Jiang Xiu's lips curled slightly as he gazed at the howling wind outside the window.

(Outside the Soul Guidance Emergency Center.)

"Commander, the investigation is complete. Jiang Xiu's parents were both members of the Blood God Legion, and they died in battle four years ago.

His mother, Xu Ruoxi, possesses the Silver Moon Martial Soul..."

Seeing Dong Zi'an emerge, Li Jie quickly stepped forward and reported the information he had gathered.

"Alright, I know all of this."

Dong Zi'an waved his hand to interrupt, "Send men to Snow City now and retrieve those two medals, the sooner the better."

  "Yes, sir!"

Li Jie nodded and immediately sent a message to the soldiers in Snow City.

After finishing, Li Jie looked at his commander, who was deep in thought, and couldn't help but ask,

"Commander, Jiang Xiu has great talent. Do you want to take him as your apprentice?"

Li Jie knew very well that his commander was unmarried and had spent his entire life in the military, spending his time either killing abyssal creatures or nurturing and promoting talented individuals.

Moreover, Jiang Xiu's parents were both members of the Blood God Legion, and his background was impeccable.

"You rascal, no wonder you were handpicked by me, you seem to know me inside and out. I'm interested, but I'm afraid I can't teach him well,"

Dong Zi'an said with a laugh, then looked into the distance and sighed softly.

"You're joking, there are people you can't teach,"

Li Jie said, taking his commander's words as a joke.

"Jiang Xiu not only possesses the Purple Emperor Annihilation Dragon Martial Soul, he has twin Martial Souls, and even twin ultimate Martial Souls."

  "What a joke!"

Li Jie exclaimed incredulously, but seeing Dong Zi'an's calm expression, he knew his commander wasn't joking.

Immediately, the air fell silent, even the cold wind subsided slightly.

Seeing his commander's rare hesitation, Li Jie gritted his teeth and spoke.

"Commander, do you know what the flower language of genius is?"

  "What?"

Dong Zi'an raised an eyebrow, puzzled.

  "Hurry, or you'll miss out!"

Li Jie said sincerely, "Think about it, this is the descendant of our brother legion, in other words, the descendant of our legion! Jiang Xiu's talent is so high, even you might not be able to teach him well, so how many people in the world are better than you?"

"Are you really willing to hand him over to some unknown person?"

Seeing his commander's eyes harden, Li Jie cleared his throat, preparing to add one last push.

"What if his future teacher is as unreliable as some old Sea God Pavilion elder who loved chicken legs from ten thousand years ago? What if..."

"Stop, why don't you just say that Jiang Xiu was kidnapped into the Holy Spirit Cult by an evil soul master as soon as he stepped out the door?

Alright, stop bothering me, I've already made up my mind."

Hearing Li Jie's increasingly outrageous talk, Dong Zi'an waved his hand to interrupt, but he had already made his decision.

"You're going to take Jiang Xiu as your disciple?"

  Li Jie smiled triumphantly.

"Hmm, but it can't be just me. Professional matters should be handled by professionals."

Dong Zian nodded slightly, a mysterious glint in his eyes, and said in a low voice.

He then took out his communication soul tool, swiped his finger, and finally stopped at a number labeled "Cook," and dialed it.

  "Hello?

Who is it?

I'm cooking, don't bother me if there's nothing wrong... Watch me take a spoonful of sauce."

A strong voice came from the other end of the communication soul tool, with the faint sound of a spatula being turned over.

"Old Mu, I've found a genius with a true body martial soul, and it's even an extreme attribute one. Since you're busy, I'll look for someone else. Bye..." Dong Zian

said regretfully, then, as if he had expected it, he moved the communication soul tool away from his ear.

  "What! Don't hang up!"

A loud roar came from the communication soul tool the next moment.

  "What's wrong?

Weren't you busy?"

Dong Zian smiled, as if he knew everything.

"Oh, it's Old Dong. I thought it was Old Dong. You said you found a genius with an ultimate attribute martial soul. Where is he? I'll fly over right now."

The voice sounded again, clearly impatient.

  "Weren't you cooking?

This isn't urgent. It's a pity, though. This kid has twin ultimate martial souls. But it's okay, I can find someone else."

Dong Zian said casually, with a hint of regret.

  "Why am I cooking?

Don't you know my sect is dying out? You're joking with me. Don't forget I contributed to your god-level mecha.

Tell me the address now, or I'll take a cleaver and cook you! I'm good at dealing with people too."

Dong Zian seemed to be able to see the person on the other end of the line in a fit of rage through the soul tool. Knowing the time was right, he spoke slowly.

"Snow City, come quickly, or you'll be late."

"Wait for me, I'm coming right away... Oh no! It's burnt!"

  "Beep beep beep..."

With a cry of alarm, the communication ended.

"It seems you really care about Jiang Xiu, but his Purple Emperor Annihilation Dragon Martial Soul..."

Li Jie chuckled upon seeing this, but then, as if remembering something, a hint of worry appeared in his eyes.

"Hmph, that matter happened ten thousand years ago, it's time to turn the page. If anyone doesn't want to turn the page, I'll help them."

A fierce glint flashed in Dong Zi'an's eyes, and an invisible aura of killing intent emanated from him.

Inside the Soul Guidance Emergency Center.

  "Is my shadow really gone?"

Jiang Xiu looked at himself, summoning the Shadow Monarch again to examine it carefully.

But suddenly, Jiang Xiu seemed to sense something; within the Shadow Monarch Martial Soul, something seemed to be attracting him, giving him a feeling of spiritual enlightenment.

After a moment's hesitation, Jiang Xiu slowly sank his consciousness into the Shadow Monarch Martial Soul.

Suddenly, everything went dark, as if his soul had left his body.

  "Shhh!"

A faint sound rang out, and Jiang Xiu felt as if countless ants were crawling around his ears. He slowly opened his eyes.

But the next moment, Jiang Xiu froze, because there really were countless ants crawling around him.

These ants were dark purple, about the size of a calf, with a golden stripe on their bodies, radiating a predatory aura.

Jiang Xiu looked around; there were countless of these ants, the sky was empty, without sun, moon, or clouds, and the soil beneath his feet was black. The air was thick with the smell of gunpowder.

"Wait, where did I get here?

Is this still Douluo Continent?!"
