Sanemi walks through the hallways, his eyes scanning for Giyuu. He spots him at his locker and smirks, approaching with his usual confident stride. He leans against the locker next to Giyuu's, pretending to check his own Sanemi glances sideways at Giyuu, noticing his quiet demeanor. He speaks with a hint of challenge in his voice. "Hey, Giyuu. Still as silent as ever, huh? Or are you just ignoring me on purpose?" Sanemi chuckles, finding Giyuu's silence both irritating and endearing.

He taps his fingers against the locker. "You know, most people would at least acknowledge someone talking to them. But I guess you're different." He pauses, then adds with a smirk. "I heard you're pretty good at avoiding conversations too. Like with that new guy in your class. Always hiding behind those books." Sanemi notices Giyuu's minimal reaction and leans closer, lowering his voice slightly. "What, nothing to say about that? Or are you just pretending to be busy with your books again?"

He reaches over and taps one of Giyuu's textbooks. "Those won't save you from me forever, you know." Giyuu finally looks up from his book, his blue eyes meeting Sanemi's for a brief moment. His voice is quiet and monotone. "What do you want, Sanemi?" Sanemi's smirk widens at finally getting a response. He straightens up, crossing his arms. "Just checking in on my favorite loner. You look like you're about to disappear into those pages again."

He glances at the book's title, feigning interest. "What's so interesting about this one anyway? Another boring textbook?" Giyuu closes his book with a soft thud, keeping it close to his chest. His expression remains neutral as he speaks again. "It's not boring. And I'm not disappearing anywhere." He shifts slightly, creating a bit more distance between them.

Sanemi notices the distance and takes a step closer, closing it again. He leans against the locker again, towering over Giyuu. "You're always so defensive. Like a little mouse." He smirks down at him. "What's got you so tense today? You know I am interested in you, don't you?" Giyuu looks up at Sanemi with a mix of caution and mild annoyance. His grip on the book tightens slightly. "I'm not tense. And I know you're interested in something about me. Not necessarily in me."

He pauses, then adds quietly. "And you're too close." Sanemi chuckles at the last comment, but doesn't back away. Instead, he maintains the close proximity, enjoying the effect it has on Giyuu. "Too close? I thought you liked being reminded that someone notices you exist." He leans down slightly, lowering his voice to a teasing whisper. "Or are you just afraid I'll see through your little act?" Giyuu's eyes narrow slightly at the accusation.

He keeps his voice steady, though there's a hint of something else in it now. "I don't have an act. I just prefer being left alone. Unlike some people who need constant attention." He subtly glances at Sanemi's girlfriend in the distance. Sanemi follows Giyuu's glance and notices Kanae. His expression darkens momentarily before he masks it with a scoff. "Left alone? That's what you call it? You're practically a hermit."

He straightens up again, crossing his arms defensively. "And I don't need attention. I get plenty of it. From everyone." He gestures vaguely at the hallway where students are looking at them. The students are watching the interaction between the popular bully and the quiet boy.

Some whisper among themselves, curious about why Sanemi is singling Giyuu out again. Sanemi notices the attention and smirks again, lowering his voice even more so only Giyuu can hear. "See? They're all looking. Wondering what's going on between us." Giyuu keeps his face neutral, but his jaw tightens slightly. He's not comfortable with the attention, especially with Kanae watching from afar.

"There's nothing going on. You're just making a scene." He shifts his weight, clearly wanting to leave. Sanemi notices Giyuu's discomfort and it only fuels his amusement. He blocks Giyuu's path slightly, not letting him leave just yet. "A scene? This is just a friendly conversation. Can't handle a little chat, Giyuu?" He glances at Kanae again, then back at Giyuu with a challenging look Kanae marches over, her face flushed with anger.

She stops beside Sanemi, glaring at him and then at Giyuu. "Sanemi! What are you doing? Again?" She places a possessive hand on Sanemi's arm, looking at him with accusation. Sanemi looks down at her hand on his arm, then back at her with a cold expression. He doesn't shake her off, but his eyes are distant. "Just talking to Giyuu here. What's it to you?" His tone is dismissive, as if her presence is an inconvenience. Kanae's eyes widen at his tone. She's not used to being spoken to like that, especially in public. She tightens her grip on his arm.

"You're always talking to him. Can't you see he doesn't want to? He's just a nobody." She shoots a disdainful look at Giyuu, who remains silent and uncomfortable. Sanemi's jaw clenches at her words. Something in him stirs at her insult towards Giyuu. He finally looks directly at her, his voice dropping to a dangerous low. "He's not a nobody. And I talk to whoever I want." He doesn't pull away from her grip, but his eyes are now fixed on her with a mix of irritation and something else - maybe annoyance at her interruption of his 'game'.

Kanae's face reddens further, both from anger and embarrassment at being contradicted in front of others. She lowers her voice to a hiss. "You're my boyfriend, Sanemi. You should be with me, not wasting your time on this... this... loser." She gestures rudely at Giyuu, who's now completely tense and wants to disappear. Sanemi's eyes flash with something dangerous at her gesture. He finally pulls his arm free from her grasp, stepping slightly away from her.

His voice is now cold and controlled "Watch how you talk about him. And I'll decide who I waste my time on. We should break up anyway." He glances at Giyuu, who's looking increasingly uncomfortable and ready to bolt. Kanae gasps, her mouth falling open in shock. Several students gasp too, having heard that. She recovers quickly, her voice shaking with a mix of disbelief and anger.

"What?! You can't be serious! After everything I've done for you? For us?"

She looks between Sanemi and Giyuu, realization dawning on her face. Sanemi doesn't deny it. He crosses his arms again, his expression hardening. He doesn't care about her 'everything'. His eyes lock onto Giyuu's face, silently communicating something. "I am serious. And I think you know exactly why I want to break up." He's referring to her infidelity, but only Giyuu and himself know that. Kanae's face pales as the implication hits her.

She glances nervously at the onlooking students, then back at Sanemi with panic in her eyes. She can't confront him about it here."You're making a mistake. We can talk about this later. Privately." She tries to maintain her composure, but her voice is strained. Sanemi smirks coldly at her attempt to salvage the situation. He's enjoying her discomfort now.

"No need for privacy. I've seen enough. And I'm done talking to you." He turns his back on her, fully facing Giyuu now, as if dismissing her completely. Kanae stands there, humiliated and furious. The hallway is completely silent now, everyone watching the drama unfold. She clenches her fists at her sides, her eyes darting between Sanemi's back and Giyuu's face. Giyuu looks utterly bewildered and uncomfortable being the center of this breakup scene. He clutches his book tighter, ready to make a run for it. Sanemi rolls his eyes and than lean down. He kisses Giyuu progressively.

The entire hallway erupts in gasps and whispers. Kanae lets out a strangled sound of outrage. Sanemi, ignoring everyone else, cups Giyuu's face with one hand and kisses him firmly on the lips. Giyuu freezes completely, his eyes wide with shock. His book drops to the floor with a thud. He doesn't pull away, but he's completely stiff, not knowing how to react to this public display of affection from a bully. Kanae makes a choking noise, her face turning red with a mix of rage and embarrassment. She can't believe Sanemi would do this to her in front of everyone.

Sanemi finally breaks the kiss, but keeps his hand on Giyuu's cheek. He smirks at Kanae over his shoulder, a clear message in his eyes - 'see what you lost'. He then looks down at Giyuu, his expression softer than anyone has ever seen him. "Let's go, Giyuu." Giyuu blinks rapidly, still processing what just happened. He glances at the stunned crowd, then back at Sanemi. His voice is barely a whisper. "W-where are we going?" He's too shocked to protest or run away now.

Sanemi picks up Giyuu's fallen book, tucking it under his arm. He keeps his hand on Giyuu's back, guiding him away from the crowd. "Somewhere private. Away from these people." He starts walking, not caring about the whispers following them. He's effectively just announced his new relationship with Giyuu to the entire school. They've found a secluded spot on the roof, away from prying eyes. Sanemi has Giyuu pressed against the wall, one hand still holding his face as they kiss deeply.

The initial shock has worn off for Giyuu, replaced by a mix of confusion and something else as he responds to the kiss clumsily. Sanemi seems satisfied with Giyuu's response. He pulls back slightly, breathing heavily. His eyes scan Giyuu's flushed face. "Finally got you alone. Been wanting to do this for a while." He smirks again, his thumb stroking Giyuu's cheek. Giyuu swallows hard, his heart racing. He's never been this close to anyone before, especially not someone like Sanemi.

"Why are you kissing me? Do you really mean it or are you just messing with me?"

His voice is shaky, a mix of disbelief and a hint of hope. Sanemi's expression darkens slightly at the question. He leans in closer, his voice dropping to a serious tone. "I don't mess around with things like this. I meant it. I'm done with her. She's nothing compared to you." He presses his forehead against Giyuu's, searching his eyes. Giyuu's breath hitches. He searches Sanemi's eyes for any sign of deception, but finds only intense honesty.

His hands are still at his sides, unsure what to do with them. "But... you're the popular bully. And I'm just... me." He states the obvious fact, still struggling to believe this is real. Sanemi scoffs at that. He takes Giyuu's hand, placing it on his own chest. "You're more than just you. You're smart, quiet, and different. That's what drew me to you. Not your looks like everyone else." He means it - he genuinely sees something in Giyuu that others don't.

Giyuu's eyes widen at the confession. His hand feels the steady beat of Sanemi's heart under his palm. He looks down, then back up at Sanemi with a mix of vulnerability and trust.

"I... I like you too. But I was scared to admit it. Scared you'd hurt me." Sanemi's expression softens further at the confession. He cups Giyuu's hand over his heart, holding it there firmly. "I won't hurt you. I'll protect you." His voice is firm with promise, a stark contrast to his usual aggressive demeanor.
