Chapter 645: Hell is Invading Reality! A Special Dual Doomsday!
"Special arrangements?"
Himeno squinted her sole eye, skepticism etched deep into the lines of her face. She was skeptical about the special arrangements Makima mentioned. The Control Devil rarely did anything without a dozen layers of hidden agenda.
She stared at Makima's face, searching for a crack in the porcelain mask. She tried to see any change in her expression, a flicker of emotion, anything to betray the thoughts behind those swirling yellow eyes.
But Makima still maintained that calm, inhuman face. It was a serenity that bordered on terrifying.
"If you have any questions, you can directly ask the cabinet." Makima's voice was smooth, polite, and utterly dismissive.
After Makima finished speaking, she no longer paid attention to her. She turned back to her paperwork, dismissing Himeno as easily as one would a buzzing fly.
Everything she did was only for her master. Every breath, every heartbeat, every calculated move in this grand chess game was dedicated to him.
For example, ensuring the cleanliness and integrity of what her master desired. She had prepared herself, body and soul, to be the perfect vessel for his will.
She had also prepared two more pet dogs for her master. New additions to the collection, carefully curated for his amusement.
She wondered if her master would like them.
Pet dogs.
On the ground was a prone Reze, the Bomb Devil hybrid, now leashed and subdued. Her explosive nature had been contained, her spirit broken and reshaped.
On the sofa was a sitting Higashiyama Kobeni, trembling like a leaf in a gale. Her fear was palpable, a delicious scent that permeated the room.
Hmm.
It seemed the room wasn't four people and one dog, but two people and three dogs. The line between human and pet was blurring rapidly under Makima's influence.
Hiss.
It felt like 'dog' was becoming a special term in this world. A title of submission, of belonging to a power far greater than oneself.
"Huh? What are you talking about? Is there a mission?"
Power made a nimble leap directly from the sofa in front of the air conditioner to Higashiyama Kobeni's side. The Blood Fiend landed with a thud that shook the cushions.
The sofa sank with a 'Duang' sound under her weight.
"Wow!"
Higashiyama Kobeni was startled, letting out a small shriek. Her nerves were already frayed to the breaking point.
"Why did you suddenly jump over here! You scared me to death."
She patted her chest, her mouth still muttering complaints, her eyes wide with fright.
"Hahaha, you're too timid. Don't worry, I'll be responsible for training your courage."
Power was a bit jumpy, with no thought of apologizing; instead, she thought about scaring Higashiyama Kobeni more in the future to train her courage. It was her twisted version of friendship.
"???"
Higashiyama Kobeni's head was full of question marks. Was that human language? Or just the ramblings of a chaotic fiend?
She always felt that her colleagues were all oddballs, and she felt that the future would be very dangerous. Working here was a constant gamble with her life.
Wouldn't it be more profitable and comfortable for me to go into the adult industry? After all, I just need to spread my legs. The thought, born of desperation and exhaustion, flickered through her mind. At least there, the monsters were human.
"Boom!"
A sudden, earth-shaking roar pulled Higashiyama Kobeni back from her wandering thoughts. The ground lurched violently beneath them.
"What's going on? An earthquake! Quick, hide!"
It wasn't just a roar. It was the sound of reality tearing at the seams.
The entire building and room were shaking violently. Plaster fell from the ceiling, and the lights flickered ominously.
Tables, chairs, potted plants, everything was flying around as if gravity had momentarily lost its grip.
Thinking of an earthquake. The primal fear of the ground betraying them.
As people of this country, they were very afraid. Earthquakes were a constant, terrifying reality.
Higashiyama Kobeni's first reaction was to cover her head with both hands and, like a loach, swiftly dive under the office desk, coming face to face with Reze who was lying on the ground. The Bomb Girl blinked at her, her expression vacant.
"Huh? Earthquake?"
Power, however, looked fearless. She stood her ground, grinning as if challenging the tremors.
In contrast, Makima and Himeno were much calmer. They didn't panic; they analyzed.
"Something's wrong."
Himeno stood up steadily from the shaking sofa, her brows tightly furrowed. She balanced herself against the swaying wall.
This indeed looked like an earthquake. But it felt wrong.
But she felt the pervasive... scent of fear in the air. It wasn't just the fear of the people in the building; it was a cosmic dread, a wrongness that seeped into the soul.
For the first time, Makima's calm eyes showed interest, was it surprise or perhaps wonder? A flicker of curiosity in the abyss.
"Hell... appearing in reality... Why?"
Something unknown to the Control Devil had appeared in the world. A variable she hadn't accounted for.
"I... I surrender!"
"Heh heh, you talked a big game, I thought you were strong."
Ren sneered and released his hand. He stepped back, admiring his handiwork.
Saya Takagi, losing her support, slumped down, breathing heavily with her small, fragrant tongue sticking out. She was a puddle of exhaustion, her limbs trembling.
"Tired... So tired..."
Saya's eyes were misty and unfocused as she repeatedly murmured. Her mind was blank, filled only with the aftershocks of intense physical exertion.
Ren took back the exercise equipment from Saya, which looked sweaty and damp after being used by them for their training. It glistened in the light, a testament to their vigor.
No choice. She had asked for it.
During their training, Saya had patted her chest and boasted, "Hmph, they're too weak. I alone can handle all the training exercises and defeat you!" She had been so confident, so arrogant.
Since she dared to say that. Ren had to oblige.
Ren simply increased the intensity of her training. He pushed her limits, testing her endurance and resolve.
He had originally wanted to see her strength. To see if her bite matched her bark.
Who knew this girl was just all talk. She crumbled faster than a sandcastle in high tide.
His training plan hadn't even ramped up yet. He had barely broken a sweat.
This girl was already exhausted and begging for mercy frantically. Her pride had evaporated, replaced by desperate pleas.
Of course, Ren didn't let her off that easily. He was a thorough instructor.
It had already been three hours since Saya first begged for mercy. Three hours of rigorous, unrelenting "exercise."
Ren only let her go after his cream-filled pastry was cooked. The metaphorical timer had finally dinged.
Saya's current exhausted, sweaty, and twitching appearance was truly amusing to behold. She looked like she had run a marathon and then wrestled a bear.
His gaze swept over Shizuka and the others, who had already recovered. They watched with a mix of awe and trepidation.
A smile tugged at his lips: "Who else wants to continue training?"
The sweat on the exercise equipment could be wiped off and still used. It was ready for the next round.
"Uh!"
Alice was the first to shrink behind Shizuka. Her small frame trembled. The sheer intensity was too much for her innocent mind.
After a comfortable workout, she definitely didn't want to end up as disheveled as Saya. She preferred a gentler pace.
Although Ren Ge looked very handsome and wild like that, radiating raw masculine energy, for her, who was small in all aspects, it was still a bit too terrifying.
Rika and Saeko were all tempted. Their eyes lingered on him, desire warring with caution.
Even though Saya looked so disheveled. They knew the pleasure that came with that exhaustion.
Only the two of them, who had experienced it, knew that Saya must have reached a peak of pleasure to be like that. It was the aftermath of transcendence.
That feeling of reaching the heavens truly captivated them. It was an addiction they couldn't shake.
Even Shizuka, Rika Minami, and Yuriko, who had experienced the normal process for the first time, couldn't help but want to volunteer. Their bodies yearned for more.
Even if the last shred of sanity in their hearts told them to be reserved. To maintain some semblance of decorum.
But the again uncontrollably opening and overflowing door was calling for them to act. Their instincts screamed louder than their reason.
"Hmm?"
However, Ren suddenly frowned slightly, as if something was on his mind. His playful demeanor vanished, replaced by a sharp alertness.
Everyone noticed something was wrong and remained silent. The atmosphere in the room shifted instantly.
Saeko spoke with a grave expression: "Ren, something's wrong with Makima." Her intuition was sharp, honed by battle.
"Yes, I saw it."
Ren gave Rika and the others a reassuring look, then focused his attention on the Chat Group. His gaze turned inward, scanning the digital interface.
What concerned him was the appearance of the Doomsday Companion prompt. It flashed urgently in his mind.
