Chapter 660: Little Gluttonous Cats Nishimiya Yuzuru and Nishimiya Shoko!
"It merged so easily? I didn't feel much."
Esdeath raised a slender, icy-blue eyebrow. Standing amidst the remnants of the post-apocalyptic world, she looked down at her hands, expecting to feel a seismic shift in her very existence.
But there was nothing. The only sensation was a fleeting moment of vertigo, a few seconds where her body felt as though it were being gently pulled by an invisible tide, before reality snapped back into place.
"It seems it really is that simple," Ren said, shaking his head with a mix of amusement and emotion.
He stood tall, the cosmic winds settling around him. "The abilities of the Doomsday Chat Group might still be far beyond our current imagination. We see it as a monumental feat—merging realities—but to the system, it's likely no more difficult than saving a file."
[Tatsumaki: Hey, what's going on? Why haven't I seen any changes? Is the Doomsday Chat Group playing tricks on us again?]
[Ren: No, the fusion is complete; it just wasn't a grand spectacle. The laws of physics have been rewritten seamlessly.]
[Shiroyasha: Tsk, disappointing. Nothing good to see. I was expecting fireworks on a galactic scale.]
[Ainz: What good things do you want to see? A universe collapsing?]
[Shiroyasha: At the very least, something like a Big Bang. A little flash, a little boom. Is that too much to ask for a god-level event?]
[Ren: How about I go to your world and perform one? I can arrange a personal fireworks show if you like.]
[Shiroyasha: Tsk. No thanks.]
[Shiroyasha: Let's get serious. What is this 'Source of Myriad Realms' fragment you obtained? That sounds like a cheat item even for you.]
[Ren: I don't understand it yet. It's pulsating with a law I haven't fully grasped. I'll study it later and then explain.]
Ren closed the interface, his expression turning serious as he looked at the purple-haired swordswoman standing faithfully by his side.
"Busujima Saeko, I won't be returning to your side immediately."
"Understood," Saeko replied with a graceful bow. Her devotion was absolute; she needed no explanations, only commands. "Please take care, Ren."
He then turned his gaze to Esdeath, the Ice General whose ambition burned as bright as her cryokinesis, and Chito, who was still trying to comprehend the sudden shift in her world's location.
"Let's go back with me first."
The end of the absolute apocalypse did not involve a pause or a return in time. The deed was done. Since they were already back in the main timeline, there was no need to linger in the void.
...
Later that night, the expansive villa was silent, bathed in the soft, silvery glow of moonlight filtering through the high windows.
"Sister, what are you doing?"
"Yuzuru, why are you like this?"
In the hallway, Nishimiya Yuzuru and Nishimiya Shoko stared at each other, caught in the act.
Both sisters were dressed in light sleepwear that fluttered slightly in the draft of the air conditioning. In the dead of night, driven by a longing they couldn't suppress, both of them had crept out of their rooms and run to Ren's door.
Yuzuru's gaze drifted, avoiding her sister's knowing eyes. She clutched her camera to her chest as a makeshift shield. "Ahem, I... I just came to see if Ren-nii was back. You know, to check on the landlord."
Shoko stared at Yuzuru's flushing face for a moment, her large, gentle eyes twinkling with amusement. Then, she nodded softly, her voice a whisper. "Me too."
"Click!"
Suddenly, the sound of the doorknob turning echoed like a gunshot in the quiet hallway.
Yuzuru's eyes widened in panic. Someone was coming! Or worse, Ren was coming out, and they would be caught loitering like stalkers.
She quickly glanced around, her heart hammering against her ribs. There was nowhere to run. The hallway was too long. Her eyes landed on the large, ornate wardrobe standing in the corner of the adjacent changing room.
"Hide!"
Without thinking, she grabbed Shoko's hand and pulled her into the room, diving towards the wardrobe.
"Why do we have to hide?" Shoko asked, squeezed into the darkness among the coats and shirts.
"Uh..."
Yuzuru froze.
Only then did she realize the absurdity of her reaction. What was there to hide?
She had already... helped Ren-nii "eat," after all. They had shared intimate moments. She was a proper little girlfriend, accepted by him. There was no rule against visiting him at night.
Alright.
It was that momentary guilt—the lingering shyness of a maiden—that made her act this way. It was the instinct to preserve her dignity, even though she had long since abandoned it in his arms.
But now that they were hidden, huddled together in the scent of cedar and Ren's cologne, it was completely difficult to get out. To emerge now would be to admit they were hiding.
"You don't have to go back today, do you?"
Shoko and Yuzuru's ears twitched in the dark.
This was Ren-nii's voice! Ren-nii was back!
But... he wasn't alone. He seemed to be talking to someone.
Thump. Thump.
There were two sets of footsteps, one heavy and confident, the other sharp and rhythmic, like the click of military boots.
Click.
The sound of the door closing and locking was ominous and final.
"If you don't want me to go back, I can stay."
Yuzuru and Shoko exchanged wide-eyed glances in the sliver of light coming through the wardrobe slats.
It was a woman. Her voice was cool, imperious, and undeniably seductive. It sounded like a queen commanding her subject, yet laced with a dangerous hunger.
Who was it?
Sister Yukino? Aunt Miyuki? Sister Tohka?
No. The voice didn't sound like any of them. It had a sharpness, an edge of ice that none of the other residents possessed.
Drip, drip!
A faint sound of flowing water reached their ears. Someone was pouring a drink? Or perhaps... something else?
"Are you sure you want to go back? But your body doesn't seem to think so," Ren's voice was low, a husky tease that sent shivers down Yuzuru's spine even from her hiding spot.
"Heh heh, isn't that obvious? This challenge... I will definitely win against you. I will conquer you, Ren."
"Then let's see."
...
Shoko and Yuzuru stared at each other in the darkness, their breaths held tight in their chests.
As time passed, the sounds from the bedroom shifted. The conversation died down, replaced by the rustle of fabric, the friction of skin on skin, and then... sounds that made their faces burn hotter than fire.
"Gulp!"
"Mmm!"
Both of their bodies grew hot, a feverish heat flushing their skin crimson.
The sounds were raw, unfiltered. The mysterious woman—Esdeath—was vocal. She didn't hide her pleasure; she proclaimed it, her voice a mix of battle cries and ecstatic moans.
Their mouths, whether dry from nervousness or otherwise, were frantically salivating.
Shoko even buried her entire head in her knees, her legs involuntarily moving, rubbing together as a strange, heavy ache settled low in her belly. She squeezed her eyes shut, but the images her mind conjured were vivid and relentless.
Yuzuru's mind was already blank.
Ren-nii... was so wild. And the other person was also so wild. It was a clash of titans, a storm of passion that shook the very air in the room.
She instantly felt that her own small 'eating' back then was insignificant. Compared to this symphony of desire, her previous experience felt like a child's game.
She swallowed hard, her hand trembling as she reached out to push the cabinet door open. They had to leave. They couldn't stay here listening to this; her heart might explode.
Just as she opened a crack on both sides, letting a sliver of light pierce the darkness.
Bam!
A loud bang of wood startled her. A hand had slammed against the wardrobe door from the outside, right above the latch.
She quickly covered her mouth to stifle a scream.
Thankfully, the door didn't open. Nothing else happened.
Only... a figure had placed both hands on the cabinet door, leaning against it for leverage.
"!!!"
But that was the biggest problem!
Under the warm, golden light of the bedroom, Yuzuru saw clearly through the slats.
A beautiful, flawless body. Ice-blue hair cascading down a back that arched in ecstasy. A tangle of wildness and surrender.
And under the light, through the crack... Ren was looking directly at her.
He wasn't looking at Esdeath. He was looking into the wardrobe. His golden eyes locked onto Yuzuru's terrified gaze, and his lips curled into a knowing, devilish smile.
Yuzuru was instantly struck by lightning. Her blood froze.
She... she had been discovered!
Yes.
Ren had long since discovered the two of them. His perception covered the entire villa; how could two heartbeats in his wardrobe escape him?
He could have directly teleported into the room, bypassing the door.
But he deliberately opened the door and entered. He deliberately brought the battle here.
He originally just wanted to tease them. A little prank on the kittens who thought they could sneak around the lion's den.
He didn't expect the two of them to hide in the closet like startled mice.
Running around in someone else's house isn't good behavior. It required correction.
Ren, whose mind was full of mischief, thought of teaching the two of them a lesson—a lesson they would never forget.
Bringing Esdeath back just happened to be part of that idea. The General was insatiable, and her intensity was the perfect tool for this little game.
The burning passion in Esdeath's eyes was not hidden at all. She naturally knew of the two's existence—her instincts as a hunter were too sharp to miss them—but she didn't expose them.
Instead, she cooperated fully with Ren. If he wanted an audience, she would give them a show worthy of an Empress.
And she acted more openly than ever before. Her moans were louder, her movements more provocative.
Even she felt the strangeness of the situation, the thrill of being watched adding a new layer of spice to the encounter.
...
Five hours later.
The room had finally fallen silent, save for the rhythmic breathing of the satisfied.
"You rest first," Ren whispered, smoothing the hair back from Esdeath's damp forehead.
He gently kissed Esdeath's forehead. The Ice General hummed in contentment, her usual sharpness melted into a puddle of relaxation.
Knowing what Ren wanted to do, she didn't say much. She simply smirked, her eyes half-lidded.
She just lay on her side, gracefully and hazily, her beautiful ice-blue eyes watching quietly as the second act began.
Ren, on the other hand, stood up. He didn't bother getting dressed. He walked step by step to the closet.
Thump. Thump. Thump.
Each step seemed to pound into Shoko and Yuzuru's hearts like a war drum.
The two of them were now in a daze, their bodies limp, their minds mush.
Not just because they were hiding in the closet for hours, cramped and stiff.
What made them even more speechless was that they both couldn't help but put on a poorly disguised performance in front of each other during the long wait.
There was no way to help it.
Everything they saw and heard was simply too stimulating for their brains. The sounds, the pheromones, the visual of Ren's power... it had overloaded their systems.
Not to mention that the closet was full of Ren-nii's clothes, surrounding them with his scent.
Their rationality had reset to zero, acting purely on instinct to relieve the building pressure.
But after it ended, they both wished they could bury their heads in the ground. The shame was overwhelming.
"Click!"
The latch lifted. The light from the room flooded into the closet, blinding them momentarily.
The closet doors swung open.
Yuzuru and Shoko stiffly raised their small heads, shielding their eyes.
What they saw was Ren standing there, backlit by the room's soft glow, a playful, predatory look on his face.
"You two..."
Ren had just looked over when he surprisingly lowered his head.
"Hmm?"
A bottle of mineral water that had been sitting on the floor of the closet had been knocked over in their panic. But... that wasn't just water.
The fluid flowed from the closet to his bare feet, soaking the rug.
"Ugh!"
The two immediately lowered their heads, burying their faces in their hands, not daring to look at his face again.
It was already their fault for sneaking in, and then they peeked.
Now they had made Ren-nii's closet a mess. A very specific kind of mess.
So they quietly waited for Ren's reprimand. They braced themselves for a scolding.
But he had no intention of reprimanding them.
Instead, he squatted down, bringing himself to their eye level. He reached out and stroked their little heads, his touch gentle and electrifying.
He chuckled, a low, rumbling sound that vibrated in their chests. "How could I bear to reprimand you two little gluttons?"
He tilted Yuzuru's chin up, forcing her to meet his gaze.
"You've been watching for a long time. You must be hungry."
"Eh?"
Yuzuru was stunned, her eyes slowly widening.
Looking down, she saw the proof of his stamina. What she had once "eaten" before was rapidly becoming terrifyingly large at a visible rate, reacting to their presence.
"Do you want to try it?" Ren asked, his voice thick with invitation.
"Yes!"
But what shocked Yuzuru even more was Shoko's almost immediate answer.
The usually quiet, shy girl didn't hesitate. Her eyes were burning with a fire that matched Ren's. She even actively reached out her hand, her fingers brushing against him.
Ren grinned, his smile widening into something wolfish and delightful.
"Then let's give it a try."
