Chapter 349 - The First Batch of Ninjas Moved Into the Heavenly Imperial Space

Chapter 349: The First Batch of Ninjas Moved Into the Heavenly Imperial Space

The Hokage Office was cloaked in the quiet stillness of the morning.

Uchiha Akira sat reclined in the high-backed leather chair behind his expansive desk. A freshly unsealed scroll lay open before him, the ink still carrying the faint scent of the administrative division. It was Uchiha Sasuke's official graduation assessment record.

"Successfully defeated an experienced Special Jonin..."

A faint, approving smile tugged at the corner of Akira's mouth. He traced the lines of the report with a steady gaze.

"A good performance. It seems his recent period of reflection has ground away his childish edges. He has matured quite a bit."

Thump. Thump.

The sharp, measured rap of knuckles against the heavy oak door broke the silence.

"Come in," Akira commanded, his voice calm and indifferent.

The door swung inward, and Uchiha Sasuke stepped across the threshold. He moved with a new, coiled tension, stopping precisely in the center of the room. Without a word, the young Uchiha bowed deeply toward the desk, bending at a strict ninety-degree angle. His posture radiated absolute respect, a far cry from the arrogant boy he had once been.

"Hokage-sama."

Akira lifted his chin, his dark eyes locking onto the teenager. "You passed the assessment. How do you feel?"

Sasuke straightened his spine. There was no trace of joy or pride in his dark eyes regarding his victory over a veteran ninja. Instead, a dark, simmering dissatisfaction burned within his gaze.

"I am still too weak."

A low chuckle escaped Akira's lips. The sound was quiet, yet it carried a heavy weight in the spacious room. "Recognizing your own limits means you still have the capacity to break them."

Akira casually flicked his wrist, tossing the assessment scroll aside. It rolled to a stop near the edge of the desk.

"Since you have officially graduated and earned the rank of Genin, it is time to assign your operational duties."

Sasuke's eyes sharpened into twin blades. His jaw locked as he stood at perfect attention, waiting for the decree.

Leaning forward slightly, Akira rested his elbows on the polished wood, intertwining his fingers. He held the boy's gaze, letting the silence stretch for a fraction of a second to build the weight of his next words.

"I will give you two choices."

"First, you may join the Konoha Military Police Force. With your innate talent and current strength, you can start from the standard ranks, steadily accumulate merits, and quickly secure a promotion to captain. It is the safest, most stable path."

Sasuke's brow twitched, furrowing almost imperceptibly.

The Military Police Force? Steady accumulation?

His teeth ground together behind closed lips. That was not what he wanted. He did not need safety. He needed brutal, unforgiving growth. He needed the kind of harsh, life-or-death tempering that would force his power to evolve at the absolute fastest speed possible.

Akira caught the micro-expression instantly. He let the silence hang again before continuing, his tone dropping a fraction of an octave.

"The second choice."

"I will personally select three elite operatives from within the Uchiha Clan to serve under you. You will act as their captain, forming a specialized four-man hunter squad."

"Your operational objective: Hunt down the Rogue Ninjas wandering the lawless zones outside the Five Great Nations, as well as the high-ranking desperadoes listed on the underground black market bounty boards."

Akira leaned back, his eyes narrowing dangerously. "Capture them alive. Bring them back to Konoha."

The moment the final syllable hung in the air, Sasuke's breathing hitched.

His heart hammered against his ribs, a violent, rhythmic thudding that echoed in his ears. Hunting Rogue Ninjas. Tracking down the most vicious, blood-soaked criminals across the continent. This was the crucible he had been starving for. This was the path of blood and iron that would forge his strength.

Watching the boy's barely contained excitement, Akira kept his own thoughts perfectly concealed behind a mask of calm authority.

'These missing-nin and black market killers are seasoned, ruthless, and possess massive chakra reserves,'Akira calculated silently.'Bringing them back alive and suppressing them within my Heavenly Imperial Space will provide a massive influx of high-quality nutrients to feed the evolution of my world.'

Pushing his hidden agenda aside, Akira asked smoothly, "What is your choice?"

"I choose the second path!" Sasuke answered instantly, his voice ringing with absolute, unhesitating conviction.

"Very good." Akira nodded slowly, showing no surprise at the decision. "Return to the compound and prepare your equipment."

"Yes, Hokage-sama!"

Sasuke bowed deeply once more, pivoting on his heel and marching out of the office. His strides were fast, driven by a renewed, burning purpose.

Shortly after the door clicked shut behind the young Uchiha, it opened again.

Nara Shikaku, the head of the Nara Clan and Konoha's current Chief of Staff, dragged his feet into the room. Heavy, dark bags hung beneath his eyes, and his shoulders slumped under the invisible weight of endless administrative logistics. He looked entirely drained.

"Hokage-sama," Shikaku began, his voice raspy with fatigue. "The first batch of relocating residents are fully prepped and standing by."

He stepped forward and dropped a massive, heavily bound ledger onto Akira's desk. The thud of the thick parchment echoed in the quiet room.

"A total of five hundred individuals."

Shikaku pointed a lazy finger at the top of the manifest. "Among them, two hundred are prisoner-laborers captured from the Hidden Sand Village. These individuals possess strong physiques and chakra reserves. They will serve as the primary heavy-lifting force for the initial terraforming and construction."

He flipped the page. "The remaining three hundred are primarily civilian volunteers and specialized logistics personnel. This includes master architectural craftsmen, agricultural specialists, hydraulic engineers, and thirty hand-picked members of the Nara Clan assigned to oversee the urban planning and structural zoning."

Akira picked up the heavy ledger, his eyes sweeping over the carefully organized columns of names and skill sets.

"You have worked hard, Shikaku."

The Nara clan head let out a long, suffering yawn and waved a hand dismissively. "It is all part of the job description." He paused, his sharp intellect piercing through his exhaustion as he looked at the Hokage. "However, Hokage-sama... can this pocket dimension you created truly sustain five hundred people for long-term habitation?"

Akira did not answer immediately. He simply offered a faint, enigmatic smile.

"Gather everyone at the northern clearing of the village."

Seeing the absolute certainty in his leader's eyes, Shikaku's lingering doubts vanished. He straightened his posture, his fatigue momentarily forgotten. "Understood."

Half an hour later.

The expansive training grounds on the northern edge of Konoha were packed. Dust kicked up into the air as five hundred people milled about, divided into two starkly contrasting groups.

On the left stood the two hundred Sunagakure prisoners of war. They wore dull, dirt-stained clothes, their wrists bound by heavy chakra-suppressing cuffs. Their expressions were a mixture of sullen defeat, anxiety, and quiet dread regarding their unknown fate.

On the right stood the three hundred Konoha personnel. Unlike the prisoners, this crowd buzzed with a chaotic, electric energy. Master builders carried massive scrolls of blueprints, farmers held specialized soil-testing kits, and the Nara planners stood with clipboards at the ready. Their faces were flushed with curiosity, excitement, and burning anticipation.

They were about to become the pioneers of an entirely new reality.

At the very front of the massive gathering, Nara Shikaku barked orders, directing his clansmen to keep the two factions separated and maintain strict discipline.

Suddenly, the wind died down.

A figure materialized in the empty space between Shikaku and the crowd. There was no sound, no flash of smoke—just the sudden, suffocating presence of Uchiha Akira.

The noisy chatter of three hundred civilians and the nervous murmurs of two hundred prisoners vanished in an instant. Total silence fell over the northern clearing. Every single pair of eyes locked onto the Hokage.

The Konoha citizens looked at him with burning fanaticism and deep awe. The Sunagakure prisoners looked at him with deep, instinctual terror.

Akira did not offer a grand speech. He did not waste breath on unnecessary pleasantries.

He simply raised his right hand.

The air in front of him shattered. Space itself twisted, groaning under an invisible pressure as the fabric of reality tore open. A massive, swirling spatial rift erupted out of thin air, hovering ominously in the center of the clearing. The edges of the portal glowed with a deep, captivating light, revealing glimpses of vast, untouched lands beyond.

"This... what is this..."

"Heavens above..."

Gasps of pure disbelief rippled through the Konoha volunteers. The Sunagakure prisoners simply stared, their jaws slack, their minds utterly failing to comprehend the god-like jutsu displayed before them.

Akira lowered his hand, his calm, commanding voice projecting effortlessly across the massive crowd.

"Behind this door is your future home."

"A brand new world."

"Now, enter."

Shikaku was the first to snap out of his shock. His tactical mind re-engaged instantly, and he spun to face the crowd, his voice booming with authority.

"Everyone, listen to my command!"

"The Nara planning team moves first! The moment you cross the threshold, immediately survey the surrounding terrain and mark the zoning boundaries according to the primary blueprints!"

"The construction corps follows immediately after! Prepare to establish the temporary base camps and secure the perimeter!"

"Logistics and agriculture teams, follow them in and begin inventory checks!"

Shikaku's eyes darted to the chained shinobi. "The Sunagakure laborers will enter last, under armed guard!"

"Yes, sir!" The three hundred Konoha personnel roared in unison, their morale skyrocketing.

Led by the elite Nara planners, the crowd formed neat, disciplined columns. Hearts pounding against their ribs, they marched forward, stepping into the swirling vortex of the Heavenly Imperial Space one by one.

The moment the first architect stepped through the rift, his boots hit soft, pristine grass.

He froze, his eyes widening to the point of tearing.

"Heavens... oh my god..."

"Is this... is this really a new world?"

"The air!" A farmer gasped, dropping to his knees and grabbing a handful of the rich, dark soil. "The air here is incredible! I took one breath and my back stopped aching! It feels like pure energy!"

As more and more people poured through the portal, the quiet dimension exploded with life. Everywhere they looked, there were endless rolling plains, crystal-clear rivers, and skies of impossible blue. The ambient natural energy was so thick it felt like a warm embrace, washing away the physical fatigue of the journey. Shock quickly gave way to absolute, unbridled ecstasy.

Finally, the two hundred Sunagakure prisoners were marched through the rift, surrounded by Konoha guards. They had expected a dark, suffocating dungeon. When they opened their eyes to the vibrant, sunlit paradise, they stood completely paralyzed, their minds blank.

High above the sprawling plains, the fabric of the sky rippled.

Uchiha Akira materialized in the air, floating silently as he looked down upon the bustling activity below.

As the five hundred individuals breathed, walked, and marveled at their new surroundings, Akira felt it. A deep, thrumming vibration echoed through the very core of the Heavenly Imperial Space. It was a symbiotic connection.

Streams of pure, invisible life energy radiated from the five hundred living beings, rising into the atmosphere and sinking into the earth. The dimension eagerly absorbed this vitality, using it to stabilize its laws, enrich its soil, and expand its borders. The world was feeding on their presence, and in return, it nourished them.

Akira crossed his arms over his chest, his dark eyes reflecting the sprawling, virgin lands below.

'Very good. This is merely the first step.'A cold, ambitious light flickered in his gaze.'Next, this Heavenly Imperial Space will be forged into a second Konoha. And perhaps, when the time is right... it will become an entirely new Ninja World.'
