A Ranking Battle had begun. So much attention was focused on this battle that even the highest-ranking officials at the academy, including the director, watched it from afar.
"It looks like it's started," the director said in a whisper.
Suddenly, he was startled by words coming from behind him.
"I didn't think the principal would be interested in a low-level battle like this," Thalion Morwen laughed as he came face-to-face with one of the country's most distinguished scholars.

"Mr. Thalion, what are you doing here?" The principal was surprised to see him.
"I came to take a look around. I heard there's a new seed." Thalion stood beside the principal. "I'm even more curious to know what caught your eye that made you come here. It's not common for academics to take an interest in students of such a low level."
