(Sovereign Dao Druid profession derivation complete...)
(Awaken?)
"Yes!"
(Sovereign Dao Druid profession template forming...)
(Sovereign Dao Druid: Druids believe in the power of nature. Most Druid powers come from forests, grasslands, or deserts... but the power of the Sovereign Dao Druid comes from natural sentient life. They are dedicated to maintaining the harmonious coexistence and prosperity of the world's creatures, leading them to collectively resist forces that intend to destroy the world...)
(Sovereign Dao Druids are loved and worshiped by countless living beings. They possess a rare Sovereign's Heart. This is a very rare Druid profession; the birth of every Sovereign Dao Druid is destined to trigger a revolution that overturns the world's structure...)
(Profession: Sovereign Dao Druid)
(Special Passive: Sovereign Dao Body)
(Sovereign Dao Body: Receives the faith of all spirits. The Sovereign Dao Armor is manifested through these spirits, granting their protection...)
(Sovereign Dao Armor: Can manipulate the power of all spirits in heaven and earth. The more sentient beings provide faith, the stronger the manipulated power becomes. The power of all spirits contains the basic force of the Sovereign characteristic and can be added to most other powers. Currently available borrowed power: Late-stage Unity.)
(Sovereign Dao Protection: When the Sovereign Dao Druid suffers fatal damage, they can manipulate the power of all spirits to negate the damage and heal their injuries. The accumulation of the power of all spirits requires time to recover. Currently supports two near-death recoveries at the current realm and state.)
"So the Sovereign Dao Armor is actually a type of Druid power. No wonder its style and abilities felt so unique!"
As he read the description of the Sovereign Dao Armor, a lingering doubt in Qi Ping's heart was finally resolved.
Previously, he had always felt that the Dao of All Living Things was a bit strange. There were no records of it in the Star-Sea World, and the power it provided exceeded other rules by too much. It could even augment his Space Dao and his Dao of Yin-Yang and the Five Elements. Even the Five-Colored Divine Light—the innate divine ability of his Five Elements Celestial Physique—could be enhanced by it.
It turned out this was a Druid power!
"That makes perfect sense. I just didn't expect to develop a new Druid profession!"
"Just like the Earth Immortal Druid, the intensity of the Sovereign Dao Druid far exceeds ordinary Druid professions."
Over the years, Qi Ping's understanding of the Druid profession had grown deeper and deeper.
At its core, a Druid's power came from within. It started from being initially recognized by nature and being able to manipulate a trace of natural power—like summoning lightning. Then, one became a Son of Nature, capable of controlling deeper levels of natural power, such as an entire forest or a sea.
Beyond that, one should truly control or become nature itself.
The manifestations of natural power were diverse: forests, deserts, oceans... even the Astral Winds of the high heavens or the lightning tribulations of heaven and earth were all manifestations of nature. Thus, different Druid professions were derived based on different environments. These different professions corresponded to different aspects of natural power.
Qi Ping now understood the awakening methods for more Druid professions. He was confident he could awaken many others—such as an Ocean Druid or a Desert Druid—with relatively little difficulty.
But he had no intention of doing so. Ordinary Druid professions were no longer of much use to him. Many skills from his Beast Warden (Beast King Druid) and Tree Shepherd (Jungle Druid) paths had already lost their utility.
At his current stage, there were too many cultivation spells that could replace them. Some of those spells were even more powerful than Druid skills and allowed for a deeper study of the world's laws.
Looking at it more broadly, Qi Ping now had the ability to easily create common techniques himself—for instance, duplicating skills for desert conditions based on the concepts of a Desert Druid in his mind.
What truly remained useful to him were specific abilities like Animal Companion, Beast King True Form, Treant Avatar, and Plant Monarch.
However, these abilities couldn't be awakened out of thin air; they required the consumption of a very precious "Evolutionary Power of Heritage" from his Chaos Inheritance.
Although he still had a surplus of this power, its recovery rate was extremely slow. Using it to evolve his existing three Druid heritages was already a bit of a stretch. If he added another, it wouldn't necessarily increase his strength or options; instead, it would slow his progress toward reaching a truly higher level.
Therefore, until he found a way to quickly recover that Evolutionary Power, he would not rashly choose to awaken other Druid professions.
Unless it was something like the Sovereign Dao Druid! Only a profession with such unique power and sufficient potential was truly what Qi Ping needed.
Furthermore, beyond his three Druid professions, the path of cultivation was what he truly needed to invest his energy in. Finding a system of immortality that he could fully control without being suppressed by anything had been his core path since the beginning. Having too many Druid professions would only distract him.
Once the Sovereign Dao Body finished evolving, two specialized skills were derived.
(Sovereign Dao Slave Seal: Can plant a slave mark containing Sovereign pressure into a living being that has been suppressed and is unable to resist. The Sovereign Dao Slave Seal is domineering and absolute; unless the target has the ability to destroy or resist the collective faith of the Sovereign Dao Druid's subjects in a single burst, there is no possibility of escaping the seal's enslavement.)
(Side Effect: Those enslaved by the Sovereign Dao Slave Seal will essentially lose the possibility of further growth. The total strength of the enslaved cannot exceed the carrying capacity of all the spirits of heaven and earth, otherwise, the seal may lose control.)
(Sovereign Dao Slash: Condenses the power of the Sovereign Dao Druid to its limit, erupting with a strike capable of cleaving the heavens and earth.)
(This strike can be applied to any weapon, such as blades, spears, swords, or halberds.)
(The Sovereign Dao Slash contains the regal pressure gathered from all living spirits. The attack is based on the enemy's mental strength and the cohesion of their Dao-heart. There is a probability that the target will enter special states such as Absolute Paralysis, Absolute Daze, or severe mental trauma...)
"Sovereign Dao Slave Seal and Sovereign Dao Slash..."
"Is it a choice between two skills again?"
Qi Ping looked at these two new skills. He realized he hadn't encountered a Druid profession skill that truly surprised him in a long time. But today, two had appeared.
"What domineering skills. Truly worthy of the Sovereign Dao Druid profession!"
One was absolute enslavement; the other was absolute control!
Faced with these two options, Qi Ping unhesitatingly chose the Sovereign Dao Slash.
The Slave Seal was good—such a state of absolute enslavement was something the cultivation world simply couldn't achieve—but the Star-Sea World was still too weak. Based on the description, the number of beings he could enslave was likely limited.
Qi Ping felt that this skill would only truly be useful once the Star-Sea was truly powerful. It could be used to enslave those unique beings wandering the Chaos Void or the Ten Thousand Domains, forcing them to serve the Star-Sea or allowing for the study of their power systems.
Besides, the demonic blade forged from Bai Liyun needed to devour demons to recover; he certainly couldn't enslave those things. To Qi Ping, the demons—scavenger lifeforms born from devouring and Demon Nests—held no research value. Only the Demon Nests behind them could pique his interest.
Furthermore, the side effects of enslavement were similar to those in the cultivation world. Once a cultivator entered a state of total enslavement—especially if their wisdom was controlled—they basically lost all hope of improvement. A person whose spine had been completely softened could never achieve anything on the path of cultivation. If they attempted a forced breakthrough, they faced a massive risk of their Dao-heart collapsing and being consumed by heart-demons. Attempting a breakthrough while in a state of absolute enslavement was virtually a death sentence.
Compared to the Slave Seal, the effect of the Sovereign Dao Slash was far more suited to Qi Ping's current needs! That absolute control effect was exactly what he required.
But what Qi Ping valued most was not the skill itself, but its utilization of the power of all spirits!
The greatest advantage of the Sovereign Dao Druid was that it was born from the faith of all life and protected by that same faith. Originally, this form of power existed in some cultivation worlds—such as the system of the Incense Divine Way—but that system had a fatal flaw: the endless thoughts of living beings. The collective thoughts of cultivators were terrifyingly powerful!
Once those thoughts spiraled out of control, they brought severe consequences. Many Mahayana stage cultivators who followed the Incense Divine Way had been killed by the backlash of those thoughts! One could imagine the terror of such power.
However, the Sovereign Dao Druid completely avoided the drawbacks of the Incense Divine Way. This seemingly ordinary Sovereign Dao Slash held a staggering power behind it!
Only by knowing how terrifying the collective thoughts of all life could be when unified could one truly appreciate the horror of a skill that utilized those thoughts to their absolute limit.
Qi Ping was certain that with his current combat strength, there wouldn't be many existences within the Unity realm who could escape or withstand a Sovereign Dao Slash!
"With the Unity-level foundation provided by the Sovereign Dao Armor and the demonic blade formed from Daoist Bai devouring the power of the Primordial Battlefield, combined with the power of the Sovereign Dao Slash, perhaps winning this Unity-stage battlefield is not a pipe dream."
Furthermore, for demonic creatures who relied on devouring to survive, their Dao-heart and will were their relative weaknesses. If not for the support of the Demon Nests, many demons would likely be consumed by their own uncontrolled power.
Based on these reasons, Qi Ping unhesitatingly made his choice!
"I choose the Sovereign Dao Slash!"
The moment he chose the skill, a massive wave of insight flooded his mind.
Qi Ping entered a state of meditation right there in the World-Domain Battlefield. Protected by the Sovereign Dao Armor and his ability to adapt to the energy of disasters, he remained unharmed while the surrounding calamities—capable of easily obliterating any Void Refinement cultivator—raged around him.
After some time, Qi Ping slowly opened his eyes. A look of excitement and surprise replaced the focus in his gaze.
"Good, very good! What a Sovereign Dao Druid! What a Sovereign Dao Slash!"
After truly understanding the skill, Qi Ping realized its power was even greater than he had anticipated. Its utilization and control over the thoughts of all life were far superior to the uncontrolled bursts of the Incense Divine Way. It was like the difference between a well-trained army in a formation and a disorganized mob.
"Demonic brats, the time for the reckoning has come!"
Having familiarized himself with his new powers, Qi Ping's form once again flickered through the Unity-stage battlefield.
Because of the massive enhancement to his Sovereign Dao Armor, his speed through the void using the Space Dao far exceeded his previous capabilities. His efficiency in searching grew higher and higher.
After a period of searching, a late-stage Unity Saint-grade demon entered the range of his perception.
It was a demon that looked almost human, with nothing particularly remarkable about its form. If not for the demonic skin it wore, one might mistake it for an ordinary human.
Yet it was this very "ordinary" demon that had nearly killed this avatar of Qi Ping and rendered it useless!
One must understand that after years of refinement and the support of his other avatars' techniques, this Treant Avatar was almost indistinguishable from his main body. Its strength was not much inferior.
Yet, upon meeting this demon, the creature had instantly erupted with bizarre speed to appear before Qi Ping and deliver a punch. That simple punch had collapsed the surrounding space with its mere residual force.
The walls of solidified space Qi Ping had erected were shattered instantly. The attack continued until the Dao of All Living Things domain was torn open, and Qi Ping's other defensive spells were systematically broken!
Had he not reacted quickly enough to flee, he would have perished right then. Even though he escaped, nearly half of his body had been reduced to nothingness. It had taken him a long time to slowly recover.
If he were hit by a few more punches from this demon, his entire being would be annihilated into the void! Furthermore, with this demon's speed, Qi Ping had originally possessed no chance of killing it.
Now, he had encountered this terrifyingly deep Saint-grade demon once again!
The moment Qi Ping discovered the demon, the creature also detected him. With a flicker, it appeared before Qi Ping with incredible speed! Perhaps because Qi Ping had escaped last time, the demon's speed was even greater now! The power erupting from its fist far exceeded its previous attack!
"You want to obliterate me in a single punch?"
Facing this strike, Qi Ping showed no fear. He activated the Heaven-Cleaving Demonic Blade to its limit, and the Sovereign Dao Armor erupted with brilliant light!
Simultaneously, Qi Ping unhesitatingly unleashed his newly obtained Druid skill.
Sovereign Dao Slash!
In an instant, a power of extreme majesty enveloped the humanoid demon, freezing its form mid-air!
