We met at a time when neither of us was even looking for each other. She was in 6th grade, and I was in 8th grade.
One day at school, students from different classes were being selected for a group dance. I was selected, and there was also a junior girl in the same group. The dance practice started at school, and that's when I met her. She used to call me "bhaiya" (big brother). Gradually, we became very good friends. Whenever she saw me, she would smile a lot.
Once, the school organized a trip to an environmental fair, but only the students who were part of the dance group were allowed to go. So, I went, and that junior girl went too. We were taken to a forest area as part of the trip.
A day before going to the fair, the teachers told all the students to bring their lunch boxes. At the fair, after घूमing around, we all sat on a big rock and had our lunch. After everyone finished eating, we went again to explore the forest.
There, we saw a medium-sized big rock, and all the students started climbing it and taking photos. After some time, everyone climbed down, but that junior girl was still on the rock. The teacher told her to come down because there were more places to visit.
As she was climbing down, her foot slipped, and she was about to fall from the rock. I had been watching her the whole time, so I quickly climbed up to help her. Just as she was about to fall, I grabbed her hands. If I hadn't caught her, she might not have been able to walk properly, because the rock was quite high.
Holding her hands, I carefully helped her climb down. I don't know why, but she looked very happy seeing me.
After that day, our friendship became much deeper.
