When Alex returned home in the evening, he found that Freya had gone out. On the dining table was prepared food, with a note telling him to remember to heat it up before eating.

After dinner, Alex sat at his computer coding. Around 8 o'clock, Chen Luoqiu sent him a video call.
The corners of Alex's mouth curled up. He was feeling bored anyway, so it was a good time to chat with Chen Luoqiu about "life."
After connecting, the camera showed Chen Luoqiu on her bed at home. She had just finished showering and was wearing a cool little camisole, sitting cross-legged on the bed leaning against the wall.
"What are you busy with?"
Chen Luoqiu casually asked while combing her damp hair with one hand.
"Writing some stuff. What about you? Why did you shower so early today?"
Alex asked with a smile, his gaze sweeping over Chen Luoqiu's arms and jade-like legs. Because of their close relationship, Chen Luoqiu didn't shy away from him and didn't care at all about exposing herself.
However, after noticing Alex's gaze, she couldn't help but feel her face heat up. She pulled a quilt over her legs and scolded, "Where are you looking? Let's just talk properly."
Alex smiled and said, "What's the fun in just talking? How about we play something more exciting?"
How could a video chat be exciting? Alex couldn't help but be surprised by his own thoughts; it seemed the Peach Blossom Luck had amplified certain desires.
Chen Luoqiu smiled slightly but didn't take the bait. She said, "Let me live-stream how I live at home. First, this is where I sleep. Do you still remember? You've slept in this bed too. Do you miss it?"
Although Chen Luoqiu's words weren't overtly suggestive, with just a few sentences, Alex's memories of that night were stirred. The two of them had huddled under the covers, and eventually, they both fell into a dream, performing all sorts of martial arts in the dream.
His heart immediately heated up.
