Author's pov
Keifer sat there, with Jay in his arms, helpless. Lord knows how much time passed. He sat there, cradling Jay.
Soon, light filled the room. A door had opened. Two figures walked in.
Keifer's pov
One, the tall brooding shadow of my "monster" father. The second, a slim lanky figure. Adrian.
I felt my blood boil. They brought Jay here. I don't know what they made her go through. But i didn't trust them one bit.
"So…looks like the saviour is finally awake" my father said
"Even if you tried, you wouldn't keep me alseep for long"
"Oh trust me, i didn't even mean to put you to sleep. That hit was not even a tap. You've become so weak son"
"I am not weak. And i am definitely not your son, niether are you my father"
I saw his smirk drop as i said that. The confidence slowly fading. Slowly. But fading.
"No matter how hard you try, we will still be related by blood. I will always have a connection to you"
"A connection by blood yes. But that doesn't matter. The only connection that matters is the one which is made by heart"
"A connection is only valuable when you have chosen it from both sides" i said, pulling Jay closer into my arms.
"You have some nerve to break our connection like that don't you" he said stepping closer.
"I don't have the nerve. I have the reason"
*SLAP*
My cheek stung. The feeling of his palm against it stayed. I didn't react. I just wiped his touch off with my sleeve.
I stood up. Jay still in my arms. Limp. Cold.
"You want me? Fine. But let me tale her to the hospital first"
*BANG*
The entire north wall blew up. I ran. I ran with Jay in my arms. I ran as fast as i could, but there was too much dust for me to see where i was going. I had to stop.
My father and Adrian had to move to prevent getting hurt. But because they moved. They were now tapped beind the rubble.
I saw the light silhouette of section e.
They were all there. The boys. The girls. Everyone.
I walked out as the dist stared to clear.
"Ci-n, Felix. Take Jay to the hospital. All of you. Take her."
"Keif, what about you?" Felix asked
"I need to finish off what my father started"
I put Jay in the back of Eman's car and walked back into the blasted building.
My fath- Kaizer and Adrian were emerging from the rubble.
They were covered in cuts and bruises.
Kaizer motioned with his hand and men started to pour out from every direction.
There were absolutely more that 50 men at least.
But i wasn't scared. Because i know section e. I know their presence. I felt them. All of them. All the boys. They ran forwards taking one man after the other.
I didn't go for the men. Section e arw capable enough to take them on single handed.
I went for Kaizer and Adrian. They brought Jay here. They tortured her.
And that was the biggest mistake they ever made.
Because when you touch what's mine, you don't unleash the monster. The monster isn't there. The monster would be me turning into my father. But that isn't what i want. They inleashed the beast.
Every puch, every kick. Was not only for what he did to Jay. It was for what he did to me, to mom, to keigan, to keiren, and to everyone around him.
They were both on the floor. Writhing in pain. I didn't waste any more time there. I walked straight out.
Section e behind me.
I walked to my car and got it.
I drove. I drove liel a mad man. Because right now. I was. And the only thing that could tame me. Was in a hospital bed. Her body limp and cold.
