Four hours ago, one of my long time patron DM'd me on Patreon and asked for my PayPal details. When I asked why, he told me he wanted to send me $1,000. Yes, a whole one thousand U.S. dollars.
I told him no and asked why he wanted to send me that much money. He said it was for me and my family, that I should use it to buy food and whatever else we might need.
That said, I don't accept personal donations. Thankfully, I'm not in a situation where I need financial assistance. While anyone would be happy to receive free money, I'd much rather earn your support through my work.
