Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Sacrificing...

Chapter 2 Sacrificing Gems, My Husband

Owner: Tang Fei

Talent: Innate Demonic Body: Details unknown, effects unknown, talent aptitude unknown

Perfect Control: Complete control over magic, perfect control over summoned beasts, ten-star talent and aptitude.

Physical fitness: 20 (normal adult 10, grade 2, 200 kg strength)

Mental Strength: 15/35 (Normal human 10, level 3, enslaved creature level)

Magic Power: 0/20 (Normal human level 0, 2, level of summonable creatures)

Summoned Beast: Demon Flame Celestial Lion (Eight-star aptitude, juvenile, level 15)

Tang Fei took a deep breath upon seeing the extra line of text. Eight-star aptitude? Similar to Nami's nine-star profession?

"Will it die if it becomes Nami's spirit?" Tang Fei watched the little dog wriggling and cuddling under Nami's care, and his lips twitched. What about its dignity as a lion?

Book Spirit: When a Demon Spirit Fighter's demon spirits become undead, their strength will no longer increase. Master, its aptitude is very high, so it is not suitable to be a demon spirit. The usual Demon Flame Sky Lion only has a six-star aptitude. If it has an eight-star aptitude, it must be a royal member of the Demon Flame Sky Lion. If it is raised properly, it is very likely to reach a nine-star aptitude!

Tang Fei read Shu Ling's analysis and silently watched the purple lion dog rolling around trying to please Nami, his heart filled with doubt.

"What exactly does nine-star aptitude mean?" Tang Fei asked carefully, frowning.

Book Spirit: Nine-star aptitude means being able to break through the level 90 threshold and become a member of the peak combat force. Level 70 dark members are the backbone of the dark forces, level 80 is the top combat force of dark members, and those who break through the level 90 threshold are the peak overlords of the dark forces, enough to dominate the battlefield.

After reading the book spirit's explanation, Tang Fei's heart raced, his eyes filled with excitement as he stared intently at the seemingly harmless Demon Flame Lion. This creature looked like a treasure!

"Nami, let's go find some offerings to summon a demon spirit for you," Tang Fei said to Nami, who was constantly teasing the dog.

Upon hearing this, Nami tilted her head and nodded at Tang Fei, patted its fluffy head, happily stood up, and walked towards him.

The Demon Flame Lion stopped rolling around and acting cute, and ran towards Tang Fei, its mane moving without wind, as if it were burning purple flames.

Where to?

"Well, let's go to sea. Find some pirates and use them as sacrifices to summon a decent demon spirit for you. With a demon spirit, your strength will increase, and you can take revenge," Tang Fei said after thinking for a moment.

"Then come with me. I know a place where there's a ship hidden, with food and water on board…" Nami's cheerful smile gradually faded, and she said somberly. This was what her mother told her before she died.

Nami led Tang Fei into the orange grove, and finally found a path in some inconspicuous bushes that were as tall as adults. At the end of the path, they reached the beach, where they found the boats hidden by the dense branches.

As Tang Fei looked at the wooden boat, which was at least ten meters long, and was considering how to drag it into the sea, Nami suddenly stepped forward and grabbed the bow of the boat with one hand.

"This ship must be a bit..." Tang Fei was about to stop Nami when he saw her pull the wooden boat by herself, but then he saw her easily pull the big ship into the sea.

"Alright..." Tang Fei had to admit that Nami was now stronger than him!

"Let's go to the sea restaurant, there are lots of pirates there," Tang Fei said with a smile to Nami.

"Okay…husband…" Nami nodded, thought for a moment about how to address him, hesitated for a few seconds, and then said with a flushed face.

"Hehe..." Hearing the young and beautiful Nami call him "husband" filled him with excitement and pride.

Nami rolled her eyes at Tang Fei, then ignored him. Despite her young age, Nami was surprisingly skilled at setting sail and steering the ship.

She calmly and naturally steered the boat in one direction.

The Demon Flame Lion sat beside Tang Fei, curiously gazing at the boundless sea around them.

"Roar!" After an unknown amount of time, the Demon Flame Lion suddenly revealed its ferocious light, glared angrily in one direction, and let out a low growl of warning.

Nami and Tang Fei followed the gaze of the Demon Flame Lion and saw large ships flying pirate flags sailing towards the buildings on the sea.

"A skull with two hourglasses on it must be one of the few great pirate crews in the East Blue. They're not particularly strong, but they have a lot of people!" Tang Fei said excitedly, looking at the huge ship at the head of the ship.

"Shall we go now?" Nami looked at the great pirate crew consisting of ten pirate ships not far away, with people standing on the decks of these ships, rolled up her sleeves, licked her lower lip, and asked.

"In the past!" Tang Fei grinned, his dark eyes filled with fighting spirit.

The previously goofy appearance of the Demon Flame Lion was completely gone. It bared its sharp teeth and glared menacingly at the Krieg Pirates not far away.

"Boss, there's a small boat coming towards us not far away. There are two children and a dog standing on it," Ghost Akin asked as he approached Krieg, who was clad in full armor.

"Catch them and sell them for money." Klick looked at the floating restaurant, recalling the delicious food he had tasted before, and licked his lips indifferently.

"Okay." Ghost A-Jin nodded, turned around and walked towards the back of the ship, took out the communication snail and ordered a ship to take action and capture the two little devils.

Upon receiving the order, the pirate ship headed towards Nami and Tang Fei. The pirates on board burst into unrestrained laughter, whether mocking Nami and Tang Fei for walking into their trap or ridiculing their tragic and miserable fate.

"Demon Flame Lion, make your move! Don't burn them to death, just half-burn them. I'm going to sacrifice them." Tang Fei smiled happily. With so many sacrifices, he should be able to summon a decent dark creature.

Demon Flame Lion nodded, his gaze sweeping over the approaching pirate ship. Looking at the people on the deck, he subconsciously swallowed hard, then leaped off the ship.

Instead of flying or swimming as Tang Fei had expected, the Demon Flame Sky Lion ran across the undulating sea as if it were flat ground.

Purple flames instantly filled its entire body, making it look from a distance like a purple fireball flying over the sea.

Although the young Demon Flame Sky Lion cannot fly yet, it has excellent airtime ability, and its speed and strength are extremely strong, making it easy for it to run on the sea surface.

Nami sat quietly at the bow of the ship, watching the Flame Lion easily leap onto the five-meter-high ship and casually unleash a sea of fire.

"Nami, hurry over there, it's too far, I can't use Sacrifice..." Tang Fei watched as the Demon Flame Lion was playing wildly, spewing fire, turning the thirty-meter-long ship into a ship of fire.

"Help! Captain, help!"

"Monster! Help!"

"Don't come any closer! Stay away from me, you bastard!"

"Ugh, it's so hot! What kind of lousy fire is this? Ugh—"

The pirates on the ship grabbed their long swords and slashed at the Demon Flame Lion. Every time they were about to hit it, it easily dodged and spewed a mouthful of purple demonic flames at them.

When the pirates were sprayed with demonic flames, they all jumped off the ship in an attempt to extinguish the fire on their bodies. However, the result of jumping off the ship was not what they expected. The fire did not go out at all, but instead became even stronger!

"Sacrifice!" Tang Fei crossed his hands, made a hand seal, and shouted in a low voice.

A black magic circle suddenly appeared on the bodies of the pirates who jumped into the sea. The magic circle, composed of evil black symbols, directly decomposed them into black powder.

As if guided by a consciousness, the powder fell into Tang Fei's hand and eventually formed a black jade stone shaped like a pigeon's egg.

"What's the use of this?" Tang Fei asked the book spirit, looking at the jet-black jade in his hand.

Book Spirit: Master, this Sacrifice Gem can temporarily boost your mental and magical power. As it is consumed, the Sacrifice Gem will gradually disappear.

"Not bad, not bad!" Tang Fei's eyes lit up, and he smiled excitedly.

"Honey... what's so nice about this?" Nami asked Tang Fei, hearing his excited laughter. "What is this? It's quite pretty."

"With this, you can summon demon spirits!" Tang Fei said happily, watching pirates jump off the ship like dumplings being dropped into a pot, which made him even more excited.

"Sacrifice, I've arrived!" Tang Fei exclaimed excitedly as he watched the pirates struggling and screaming in the sea, "Sacrifice!"

One after another, identical magic circles reappeared. The magic circles on their bodies decomposed them into black powder, which then floated up and gathered in front of Tang Fei, forming black jade the size of pigeon eggs.

"Summon!" Tang Fei looked at the dozen or so sacrificial gems in his hand and saw that the pirate ships were about to escape. He immediately decided to summon again. Letting them get away was unacceptable!

The complex black magic circle, with its inner and outer rings, reappeared...

A powerful, jet-black eagle appeared in mid-air, and its information instantly came into Tang Fei's view.

Summoned Beast: Thunder Giant Eagle (3-star potential, growth stage, level 25)

"Thunder Eagle, sink their ship, but don't kill them!" Tang Fei pointed to the furthest giant ship and gave the order directly.

Looking at the giant eagle with a wingspan of ten meters, Nami couldn't help but reveal an expectant look in her eyes. She also longed to become stronger! The day she could avenge her mother was just around the corner.

"Once we've collected all the sacrificial gems, this Thunder Eagle will be your spirit. It's the perfect spirit for you; it's quite powerful." Tang Fei watched as the Thunder Eagle flew above the giant ship where Krik was, unleashing dense lightning.

Each bolt of lightning struck the ship's deck like a bomb hitting the ground, creating huge craters.

"Shoot it down!" Krieg shouted in alarm and anger as he looked at the small dogs spitting fire on the other ships and the huge, ferocious eagles emitting thunder in the sky.

Upon hearing this, Ghost Man Ajin grabbed a handheld cannon from a short distance away and fired it at the Thunder Eagle.

Tang Fei's small boat arrived unnoticed in the middle of the Krieg Pirates' fleet. He quickly clasped his hands together and growled happily, "Sacrifice!"

"What's this..."

"Help!"

"This kid is a demon... a devil!"

The pirates stared in horror at the boy on the small boat who wore an innocent smile.

"You die!" Krick shouted angrily, firing machine guns at the giant thunder eagle in the sky.

His massive pirate crew of a thousand was slaughtered by two monsters!

The Thunder Eagle looked down at the scum that was shooting at it, snorted coldly, and sent an orange ball of black lightning hurtling towards it.

"Captain, run!" Ironwall Baru shouted in terror as he stood in front of Krieg, holding his iron shield.

The ball lightning, though seemingly slow, actually struck the ground instantly, directly hitting the three-layered reinforced deck of the ship.

Boom—

The giant ship broke apart instantly, and the hundreds of people on board fell into the sea like falling dumplings.

"A bumper harvest!" Tang Fei beamed with joy.

"Oh, jewels! Ah, gold coins!" Nami cried out in distress as she watched handfuls of gold coins and jewels spill out from the broken part of the giant ship.

Tang Fei: "If you like it, don't forget to bookmark it!"
