Inside a secluded villa on the Outskirts of Tokyo, heavy curtains completely blocked out the sunlight, leaving only dim light shrouding the interior.
The air was thick with the scent of Cursed Energy, so oppressive it was hard to breathe. This was no ordinary residence, but a secret gathering place for Cursed Spirits and Curse Users.
"Bastard! Because of your so-called 'observation,' two of our companions have already died by your hand!"
The roar of fury shook dust from the ceiling. Jogo's figure swelled slightly where he stood, and the Cursed Energy surrounding him surged like boiling magma.
Several jets of scorching flame erupted from his head. Orange-red tongues of fire licked the air, causing the indoor temperature to spike instantly. The wooden tables and chairs even began to feel hot, giving off a burnt smell.
This was true rage. The pressure belonging to a Special Grade Cursed Spirit was like a tangible boulder, slamming down hard on the man in the center of the room.
But Kenjaku, sitting opposite Jogo, remained perfectly composed.
He wore the same monk's robes as Suguru Geto, leaning lazily on the sofa. Facing the pressure that could terrify an ordinary Jujutsu Sorcerer, his expression remained completely unchanged.
He slowly reached out and picked up the celadon teacup from the coffee table beside him, taking a gentle sip of the warm tea. His movements were so elegant it was as if he were attending an afternoon tea party.
"Don't be angry,"
he said, setting down the teacup, his tone light and offering a casual piece of advice:
"It's getting hot enough in here to fry an egg. If you burn the house down, we won't have anywhere to discuss our plans."
"Discuss plans?!"
Jogo's fury was completely ignited by this dismissive attitude. He stepped forward, the ground trembling slightly from his power:
"If you can't give me a reasonable explanation, I'll kill you right now!
Don't forget, we stole Suguru Geto's corpse, just like you demanded!"
He abruptly raised his palm, and raging flames condensed within it, forming a pulsating fireball. The scorching heat caused the surrounding air to distort:
"It's time for you to be useful, Kenjaku!
Tell me what your plan is! If you can't explain yourself, I'll burn you to ashes today!"
Kenjaku looked at the flames in his palm, a meaningful smile playing on his lips, devoid of any fear.
The body he currently occupied was the object of desire for countless Cursed Spirits and Curse Users: the shell of Suguru Geto.
In this small living room, besides the enraged Jogo and the composed Kenjaku, three other terrifying figures were gathered.
Hanami stood quietly by the window, its vine-like limbs gently intertwined. A fresh scent of grass and wood emanated from it, yet it could not mask the terrifying aura of a Special Grade Cursed Spirit. Its gaze rested on Kenjaku, carrying a hint of scrutiny and expectation.
Dagon, meanwhile, was curled up in the corner. Its half-human, half-fish body was covered in moist scales, and it continuously emitted fragmented whispers, seemingly reciting some obscure Cursed Speech. The Cursed Energy around it flowed slowly like viscous liquid.
There was also an immense, yellowish-brown Cursed Spirit, as large as a giant ox, sprawled in the center of the living room. Its thick skin was rough like rock, and its limbs pressed into the floor, leaving deep indentations.
This was Earth Fiend, the Special Grade Cursed Spirit previously rescued by Jogo from Satoru Gojo. His aura was as steady as a mountain, and his pair of cloudy eyes stared intently at Kenjaku, bearing a primal vigilance.
Four Special Grade Cursed Spirits, plus a Curse User who had lived for a millennium and seized the body of a Special Grade Sorcerer.
Such a terrifying force, capable of overthrowing the entire Jujutsu World, was currently gathered in this secluded villa, brewing an earth-shattering conspiracy centered around Kenjaku's "plan."
Kenjaku stood in the center of the room, the hem of his black monk's robe swaying gently in the faint airflow.
His gaze swept over Jogo's tense face, Hanami's intertwined vines, Dagon's whispering mouth, and Earth Fiend's heavy body, finally resting on the pulsating flame in Jogo's palm. His tone was filled with undeniable certainty:
"The deaths of those two companions before were necessary sacrifices."
He deliberately emphasized the word "necessary," showing no guilt in his eyes, only a sense of self-evident justification:
"The death of the Dark Cursed Spirit was never my concern. Who could have known that the place he was born was right under the nose of a Jujutsu Sorcerer?"
"As for Matador..."
Kenjaku sneered, his tone full of contempt: "He was already half-hearted about your ideology and always worried about so-called 'battle honor.' I suggested subjugating him multiple times, but you insisted on maintaining 'Cursed Spirit dignity' and refused to compromise.
His death was only a matter of time."
Jogo's chest heaved violently, and the flames in his palm grew more frantic with rage, yet he ultimately held back. Although Kenjaku's words were harsh, they struck at a truth he refused to admit.
"If we want to overthrow the Jujutsu World, someone must pay the price."
Kenjaku changed the subject, his eyes suddenly becoming sharp, like a viper locking onto its prey: "And next, our true target is the Special Grade Sorcerer Rin. He
The key to our success is hidden within him."
"Rin?"
Hanami, who had been silent, suddenly spoke, its vine-like fingers gently tapping the window frame. Its voice carried the rustling sound of growing plants: "The human with the Special Ocular Technique?"
"Precisely."
Kenjaku nodded, a greedy smile forming on his lips: "I can clearly sense that Rin's physical potential is even greater than Suguru Geto's.
His talent is enough to rival Satoru Gojo. As long as I can seize his body and absorb his power, Satoru Gojo will no longer be an obstacle on our path."
He paused, the greed in his voice intensifying:
"More importantly, Rin currently hosts four Special Grade Cursed Spirits inside his body."
This statement exploded in the room like thunder.
Jogo suddenly widened his eyes, the flames in his palm nearly extinguishing.
Hanami's intertwined vines instantly tightened; Dagon's whispers cut off abruptly, a flicker of shock passing through its cloudy eyes.
Even Earth Fiend, who had been steady as a mountain, slowly raised his head, a hint of movement visible beneath his heavy eyelids.
Four Special Grade Cursed Spirits! Everyone present knew what that meant.
That was a force almost powerful enough to contend with the entire Jujutsu High!
"If he's so important, why did you stop me when I tried to move against him before?"
Jogo finally couldn't hold back, his voice thick with suppressed anger. Before, near the stadium, he had sensed Rin's Cursed Energy fluctuation and intended to seize the opportunity to eliminate this potential threat, but Kenjaku forcibly stopped him, claiming the "time was not right." Now, reflecting on it, he realized Kenjaku had ulterior motives.
Hearing this, Kenjaku suddenly chuckled, the sound full of mockery, as if laughing at Jogo's foolishness: "Stop you? That's because with your strength at the time, you couldn't possibly have held him."
He walked up to Jogo and leaned in slightly, his tone deliberately provocative:
"Perhaps when Rin first awakened his ability, you could have barely fought him.
But his growth rate is too fast. Where do you think the power of the Special Grade Cursed Spirits he killed previously went?"
Kenjaku extended a finger and lightly tapped his own temple:
"The power of those Cursed Spirits has long been absorbed and fused by him. The strength he possesses now is incomparable to before."
Kenjaku's implication, "You no longer even qualify to confront him head-on," was like an ice-cold knife, stabbing precisely into Jogo's pride.
Jogo's chest suddenly constricted. The flames in his palm flared up violently, only to be instantly and tightly suppressed.
He glared fiercely at Kenjaku, his orange-red pupils filled with rage and resentment.
The Cursed Energy fluctuation he had sensed from Rin previously resurfaced in his mind: that power was indeed several times stronger than when they first met, carrying an overwhelming pressure. Even so, he refused to admit that he would lose to a "human brat who hasn't even grown his hair out."
"You are looking down on me."
